Something going on with this dentist & his office. Used to be terrific. Now, Dr Commons is usually not there & I doubt their explanations (vacation, sick relative, etc) Office becoming like a clinic: different dentist, staff each time. Used to take pride in curb appeal, appearance; now seeming not tended. Going downhill; I don't know why. I like Dr Commons and hope for the best but may have to switch. Anyone know what's happening?

This practice has gone downhill.....the staff is VERY unprofessional, smoking outside instead of being at the front desk. They have let go all the experienced staff. The Dentist, Dr. Commons, is under DEA investigation.
About Front Desk: BAD, BAD...out smoking instead of answering phones....

My daughter was in this clinic for more than 3 years and everything was going great until one day a received a letter from the clinic only to learn for the very first time, that the clinic does not accept my insurance from Boeing Delta Care. I knew nothing of this and assumed my insurance was covering most if not all of the cost for services. Three years passed and no bills came my way. Guess what they were charging to my daughter's Mom DSHS insurance in lieu of my insurance, and of course when they found out that my daughter had other insurance they decided no pay anymore. Larrance Commons billed me the last two cleaning of my daughter. The issued here was not the bill but one of principle and good business practices. Wait until two visits once every six months and passed the bill to me later, and never once advised that my insurance nor Medicaid was covering the bill. Professional courtesy would involve a warning via letter or telephone call.

very friendly. We have had uncomplicated dental checkups and are very happy.

I've had terrible experiences with dentists throughout my life. I have a high degree of anxiety about going to the dentist. This is the first dentist that has listened to me and has been sufficiently caring. Enough that I don't mind going to the dentist.
This is the only dentist and staff that I would recommend to anybody.

I first went to dr commons earlier this year. he has done two crowns for me and both are perfect. he is good with anastesia and has a great friendly bedside manor. he is younger around 40 years old. he staff is great and the billing person who works with insurance is great. he makes me feel comfortable as a patient and the two crowns he did are perfect. so i could not say enough good thinks about dr larrance commons. i highly recommend him. About Hygienist: have not had teeth cleaned yet, having that done in august, 2009.

The receptionist was very honest and let me know that this dentist does not do well with nervous children, I really respect the honesty - she did refer me to another dentist.

His staff is very efficient. Appointments are always on time. The appointments are pleasant, quick and comfortable.
