Biondo charged me $11,200 for future services under a guise that it was insurance but it was a credit card, I cancelled 2 days later and he never refunded the money. He also charged me $525 for the consultation. He is a unethical doctor who preys on the trusting. My experience with Biondo has left me under so much stress I am not sure how I will keep going. Do not trust him. I would not recommend him for anything and the good reviews you see online are mostly from his own people.

I took my 10 year old daughter to him as per the recommendation of her dentist. She needed to have an extra front tooth extracted. Dr. Biondo never explained the options to us before starting the treatment, and he wrongly assessed the procedure would take 20 minutes, when in fact after 2 hours of drilling through my daughter's palate he had to terminate the procedure as he was unable to find he tooth. At that stage he informed that that a CT-scan would have been helpful to exactly determine where the tooth was located. Before starting the treatment I asked him for the cost, to which he said not to worry as he was a participant with my dental insurance, and refused to give me a clear amount. When he finished stitching my daughter, he presented a bill for $1,309 and told me I needed to settle such amount before leaving. When I asked him for an explanation of the charges, particularly I asked him whether he was charging for the extraction, he replied he deserved to be paid for his time, and confirmed he was in fact charging for the extraction. I had no choice but to pay the full amount, which later I disputed

Dr. Biondo was referred to me by a friend of the family who is a dentist as well. I went to him on a Friday (2/4/11) and he said he had a cancellation and could take me right then after he gave me the 3D x-ray that is VERY expensive. He prepped me and told me (what i thought was) everything i needed to know about the procedure (extracting all 4 wisdom teeth). AFTER the procedure he tells me the bill $3700!!!!!! and expected me to pay the FULL amount on the spot...he said i could not leave until the bill was settled. This man is a rip off artist and I don't care how many stories and pleasant chatting he does while you're getting your procedure done he is UNPROFESSIONAL and said i'd get $1000 from insurance and got considerably less. This man should be arrested for theft! It took him 3 weeks to finally return my call because he was "busy" when i visited his office about 3x and saw ONE person in all those visits. The receptionist of the day (since he doesn't have a permanent one) was never helpful or even faked any semblance of concern when i stated i had been leaving messages for 3 weeks. This whole process left me feeling used and abused! WORST dental experience ever and i had braces for years...smh!

I went to Dr. Biondo several years ago. He was completely oblivious to the fact that he hadn't numbed me properly before he began. I was screaming and literally had to pull his hand away from me in order for him to stop torturing me. He didn't properly sew up my open wound nor would he see me in the days following to help me deal with the ongoing pain - had his assistant provide me with additional pain meds. I wouldn't recommend him.

Dr. Biondo was highly recommended by our dentist. Three months ago he performed the pre-braces extraction of four teeth for our son, and did such a good job that we also had him do the extraction of 4 wisdom teeth for our college-age child. Again, an excellent job with good follow-up and no problems.

I went to Dr. Ronald Biondo for extraction of my wisdom teeth. Unfortunately, he was not very honest about how difficult the surgery would be. He did not even provide sedation for the extraction of FOUR fully impacted teeth! Also, when I had complications after the surgery, he was not very helpful, and just tried to brush me off. I would recommend seeking out another oral surgeon...

Beware of this oral surgeon. I went to him to have 4 wisdom teeth removed. We agreed on a price in advance after he gave me a consultation. After the 4 teeth were removed, my mouth was full of blood, and I was in pain, he had his secretary scream at me in the waiting room that he was charging me more then we agreed to because my insurance plan "wasn't paying him enough." I went home miserable and spent countless hours on the phone with my insurance company. He should be ashamed of himself.
