I have never wrote a bad review on any business but this must be addressed.
Shadi Gex (Office Manager) pulled an Unethical move. "Bait and Switch". Speaking to a attorney about a possible lawsuit for Unethical Behavior or maybe Fraudulent Billing. I was told by my child's mother that it was a regular appointment and when I show up. Shadi Gex tried to have me sign a bunch of paper work which I didn't sign because in my mind, why do I need to sign all this paper work for just a check up, come to find out that my child's appointment is not just a regular appointment, that it was for my child to get braces put on. I never gave consent but apparently, Shadi and my child's mother spoke behind my back and talked about having me pay for the braces without my knowledge or consent. told me that if I would help to pay half which as a father, this is my obligation didn't show me a break down of payments. only verbal and stated that if I didn't sign. my daughter would not get follow up treatments. nothing on the paper was stated about payments by the end of the day. sticks me with the full bill.
I will be contacting the ADA and BBB about this matter.
Their billing is so FAKE.

My daughter is currently receiving treatment from Dr. Van Bergen. I can only think of good and wonderful things to say about Dr. Van Bergen and his office staff.

Dr. Van Bergen is knowledgeable, patient and meticulous. Prior to getting my teeth done, I hid my smile. Now, my teeth are perfect and I have a big wide smile! I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality of work and my end result - a nice and straight smile.
He has a beautiful view outside his window and is located in San Francisco downtown. His colleagues provide excellent service and always smile.
Dr. Van Bergen always answered all my questions. He takes great pride in the work that he does. He has a great big heart too. He gives back to the community and supports excellent nonprofits like Summer Search.
