I went to Dr. Wyche for a general cleaning. It was a horrible experience. There is no hygenist - Dr. Wyche cleans your teeth. He was watching the tv in the room the whole time - and even stopped at one point to make me watch a police chase. The cleaning was painful (and I went to an orthodontist and had braces for 5 years) and the office was completely unprofessional.

He is quiet, but seems competent, I've only been to him once. I'm not sure if I'll go back. He isn't very talkative, comforting, so he didn't make me feel so comfortable.

About Hygienist: She was very nice, but they don't have a sink for you to rinse out during cleaning, first time in my life I've never had that option. She rinses out your mouth with that water thing they use, kind of strange. Overall she was good.

Dr. Wyche performed the cleaning. The cleaning was not thorough, he did not reach all of my teeth and there was no flossing performed either. The entire visit for a cleaning/check up lasted 15 mins. I came home feeling like I needed to go to another dentist to have my teeth cleaned again (in fact, I flossed and washed with Listerine to make the best of the situation). I would not recommend this dentist to anyone- I am certain he did not do a thorough check for cavities either.

Would not recommend. All my questions were answer with one phrase "it is standard practice" with no additional explaination. Based on his recommendation I had a crown put in and in less than 4 months the permenant crown fell off. After going back to have the crown re-attached, the tooth continued to be very uncomfortable. After visiting another DDS, I find that I now have to get a root canal and new crown for the same tooth, because the orginal tooth was ground too close to the root. Not only that according to my new DDS, the crown had been "glued" with a temporary intermediate restorative material.

WORST dentist ever. Actually hurt my teeth when he cleaned them and I normally LOVE going to the dentist. Plus, the cleaning only lasted 10 min and he actually paused in the middle of cleaning my teeth to watch a segment on CNN. Would absolutely not recommend.

He was quick and got job done. Staff was pleasant, but Dr. Wyche was not the most overly communicative. Equipment appeared a little dated.
