Latanya B Washington, DC I've known Dr. Kay for 8 months when I first came I had a10mm open bite which has been corrected in 8months. Now my smile looks a lot better than it did a few months ago. This makes me feel much more confident . At first I was a little skeptical about the whole treatment but with some encouragement and determination I was able to get through this process. I want to thank Dr. Kay for giving me the smile that I 've always wanted. Latanya Beltz

I've been going to Dr. Kay for over 10 years. She is absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend her. Dr. Kay is professional, kind and gentle. She does cleanings herself ,which I actually look forward to, and is extremely thorough. She is willing to take the time to explain what she's doing and what you need without pressuring you or making you feel uncomforatable. Her office, which is conveniently located near the Tenleytown metro, is very clean and has state of the art equipment -- which no doubt is being provided at great expense. Her receptionist is professional and kind as well. If I had to say one thing negative for the sake of being objective, I'd have to say that she is not inexpensive. Nevertheless, I think she's well worth the expense. RYJackson, Washington, DC

She is a very good patien dentist. I've moved away that's the only reason I'm thinking of going other places.

She was very friendly and attentive to my questions, though I did feel a little rushed through the appointment. It just seems like she spent less time cleaning things than dentists I've had in the past, but I've got no real complaints.

I went in for a toothache, and Dr Kay told me that I needed a new crown, possibly two. She was very rough & my mouth was bleeding like crazy, but she still did a cleaning herself. I never went back for the crown, because there was no dental hygenist, and it is a two person job. She was the only dentist. I was told later that she should not have cleaned my teeth while I was bleeding.

She is a very good, kind, courteous woman. She is of Asian descent and does not have an incredibly firm grasp of the English language, although I could understand everything she meant, just not very clearly. After having a cavity filled, I called around and discovered she is on the more expensive side. Her office is a bit inconvenient as it is in Upper Georgetown, but is on a major bus line. I trust her and she always has the patient's teeth in mind, just not their wallet.
