Dr. Doan has the best caring and understand staff to care for your dental needs along with him. I recommend Dr. Doan as often as possible for the highest quality dentistry in Sarasota.

About Hygienist: Dr. Doan’s, Hygienist I see, Knute Malwin, is a wonderful hygienist and a good person inside and out. He truly loves his job and loves taking care of people.

I was told last minute that x-rays were required and that my cost would double since I was not in in the last 12 months despite my having been in over 12 months many times in past years without $ gouging. This was a great establishment not the cheapest but it has become a racket. Stay away!
About Front Desk: Staff that has been there years is great new staff (arrahasa?) is pushy and borderline dishonest. less than 24 hours before my cleaning she me they would be violating FL statutes if I got a cleaning without an up charge for xrays and a dental checkup at double the quoted price. I was told if I did not agree to these services they would not provide a cleaning.

Dr. Doan has treated me over the weekend when his office was closed ,called in a pescription for a absesce on my tooth and as I told him I had no dental insurance. He said that it would cost me with ex-rays and haveing the tooth pulled $300.00...When I went to see him it was just that he took ex-rays,spoke to me,I told him I was very nervous about this ,he reassure me everything would be fine...I go back on Thursday ,for the tooth extraction
