Worst experience of a dentist ever. Did unnecessary dental work. Crowned two teeth that did not need it. Very rough bedside manner.

I had a partly-chipped filling on my front tooth fixed by Dr. Tim. I've never had a problem with dentists but this visit was very stressful because when he came in to look at the tooth, he went right to work grinding on my front tooth without asking what I wanted or if I had any concerns or even telling me what he was doing. He didn't say a single word to me until after he was done and I asked questions. His responses included telling me that maybe I should go to my last dentist to get what I wanted.
He probably spent about 10 minutes total with me as a new patient, never even introduced himself, and didn't attempt to discuss any long term dental care. He left me feeling disrespected.
The proecedure smoothed out the chipped filling and was not painful, but cosmetically leaves a lot to be desired, so I will have to see another dentist. Although it wasn't too expensive, it was basically a waste of money since I'll have to have it re-done.
About Hygienist: All the other staff and hygienists were very friendly and professional.

Dr. Altenburg was very nice and took all the necessary procautions to make sure my teeth were in good health. He caught my gum disease while previous dentists nodded it off. I can show a happy smile because of Dr. Altenburg.
