I went to Dr Henshaw for dental implants and a bridge as a result of trauma from a bike accident in 2004. I had already had multiple root canals, extractions etc and was faced with more teeth starting to be reabsorbed. When I went to several other specialists, they were unsure about what course of treatment to take. Dr. Henshaw came up with a plan that resolved my problem at less cost and the least amount of difficulty for me compared to the other consults that I had. I was totally pleased with the final result and could not be happier. I highly recommend Dr Henshaw and his wonderful staff for all they did to make my difficult problem a thing of the past. My work included 2 implants that were connected to a bridge and the cost included extractions and implants which were done all at the same time because they were my front teeth. The cost for all of that came to around 5,000 dollars with some discounts thrown in. All in all, he saved me alot of money because of his approach.

I have had two connective tissue gum graft procedures within the last year or so. My teeth are in generally good conditon except for some exposed roots due to heavy gum recession. I was told that nowadays it is surgically possible to "rebuild" the gum tissue to enhance the looks and longevity of the tooth and underlying bone structure. The whole idea sounded rather painful, and downright frightening. My primary dentist told me not to worry and referred me to Dr. Henshaw. During my consultation Dr. Henshaw explained he utilizes a newer approach based on microscopic surgery. He performs the surgery using a microscope which allows him to be as minimally invasive as possible. The result is less swelling, faster recovery and a cosmetic effect that I wasn't expecting. My gums have been restored and it is undectable. I was told with proper care, the grafts should last the rest of my natural life. Dr. Henshaw is obviously a skilled surgeon and aritst but he must have the cooperation of the patient. There are restrictions on what you can do and what you can eat for a limited period of time. Pain was never an issue with me, and throughout the whole experience I felt I was being treated with care and compassion.

I had gum grafting to fix a receding area around 2 of my teeth. I am incredibly happy with the results, it's as if the area had never receded. The surgery and after surgery was not painful at any point. The instructions were very clear and everyone at the office was very helpful. Dr. Henshaw was very professional and nice! I would completely recommend Dr. Henshaw to anyone needing gum grafting. The surgery would have been pretty expensive, but my insurance covered all of it. I have heard horror stories about gum grafting surgery from other people, but it turns out there was no reason to be afraid if you go to Dr. Henshaw. They will take care of you at Micro Perio.

About 3 years ago I was choosing between dentures, partial plates, or implants to restore my missing teeth. After checking out all the choices, I decided to go with implants because they were supposed to be the most like your original teeth. My procedure started with jaw bone grafting to restore bone loss. Dr. Henshaw was outstanding with both the work and the pain management during and after the process. I also had orthodontist work during this 3 year period to ensure a proper fit/bite for the implants. I finally finished the ortho work and the implants were completed in late 2010. After the healing period, my regular dentist did the final placement of the crowns. and I have been eating everything I couldn't before the completion of this work. Dr Henshaw and his team were the best and I think his attention to detail ensured my new teeth were just like the originals. His work is the basis for the successful placement of your new teeth. I highly recommend Dr Henshaw if you are thinking of going this route. Yes, it does cost more than the other choices, but you will definitely be satisfied with your new teeth after Dr Henshaw is done. And he's got a great chairside manner.

I had a crown lengthening procedure done by Dr. Henshaw. His office was very clean and nice. The staff was friendly and the service was great. He took his time and answered any questions I had through out my experience and didn't rush like many dentists I have experienced. I would most definitely recommend him to others.

I had a tooth pulled in preparation for an implant and then he did the implant procedure. My first time for an implant and it went very well. My insurance company did not cover the implant itself, but did cover the extraction, this was not a surprise. I definitely would recommend Dr. Henshaw and will go back to him if I need another implant or any other procedure provided by him should I need it.

Dr Henshaw did 2 implants for me, that also involved a gum tissue graft and a frenectomy. So far, things have worked out top-notch. The frenectomy was somewhat painful afterward but I'm not sure it could be less with anyone else.

I was referred to Dr Henshaw by my dentist, Dr Dan Blickenstaff. He trusted Dr Henshaw with his daughter's implant so...I trusted Dr Henshaw with seven implants. I must share that I had a fear of Dentist. I never had a beautiful smile...or great teeth. Dr Dan and Dr Henshaw have given me the smile I use to dream about. Dr Henshaw was the best...I had 5 implants done in one sessions...he called me that evening to make sure I was OK. As I look back the pain and the discomfort were minor. Then 2 inplants...and now finished. Dr Henshaw was caring, kind and educated me along the way. I would highly recommend him to family , friends and complete strangers. Everyone thinks their dentist is the best, I know my team of dentist are the best, hands down!!!
