I had a great experience at this pratice. As a weary and nervous patient I was greatly suprised by the relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Popenoe was great as were his skilled and competent staff.

My dentist Dr. John Popenoe did a graft on my lower left...To start with he gave me the best injection i have ever had...I did not feel a thing...his work was impeccable!!! He had the best chair side manners of any dentist i have ever been to...he has a very soothing voice and was very comforting to listen to as he did the work...he explained everything he did throughout the procedure....I was so scared to have a have this done and it was the easiest dental visit I have ever had...I will continue to be a patient of Dr. Popenoe's...I can not say enough good things about him as a person and a dentist....I feel so lucky to have been referred by a friend to see him for dental work...I hope I never have to go anywhere else...I now have referred in 12 people that I know and all of them have been equally as happy.....Thank you so much to Dr. Popenoe for restoring my faith in dentistry...He is without a doubt the best there is.....

Dr. Popenoe is a new dentist for me, a result of my former dentist moving out of state. He is young and friendly, and very down to earth, but seems very competent. I had a simple procedure done (replacement of two fillings) which for me is very anxiety producing, especially the "getting numb" part involving several injections into my gums. He was extremely gentle and reassuring, and that part was much less painful than I anticipated.
A number of the staff there reported that they are having him do work on them that they had been putting off, so I thought that said a lot. My hygienist showed me a gum graft (that was healing) that he had performed on her. I thought it said a lot about his technical skills that they chose him to do this work.
