Dr. Richard Giannandrea practices dentistry in the same traditional manner as my father did. He doesn’t advertise in glossy magazines dressed in $3,000 suits or athletic wear like a trainer in an upscale gym, he isn’t surrounded by assistants to do the hard work like cleaning teeth that is scorned by his competitors, and his office isn’t decorated with furniture that resembles teeth or the golf trophies he claims to have won.
His competitors work in multi-office practices, which are run by young MBA’s (who aren’t dentists) making sure that each procedure is completed within prescribed time limits and in a manner to maximize revenue.
For those of you who haven’t experienced being treated by a real dentist like Dr. Giannandrea, you have no idea what you are missing. You are losing the opportunity to develop a long term relationship with a caring health care professional, not a salaried employee of a large practice, who is sure to move on for a better opportunity if and when it presents itself.

I've been "dentist-phobic" since childhood however after my first visit with Dr. G 7 years ago, I look forward to my visits. He is gentle, kind, extremely skilled and has a great sense of humor. I've referred friends, family and colleagues to him. His practice is unlike most. He takes his time with one patient at a time.

Dr. Giannandrea is a very special dentist. His skill is superb and his manner is gentle, respectful and confident. He gives you his undivided attention.. no running back and forth attending other patients during your appointment.
I have been to many dentists and he is the only one I will go to. I commute from Boston to see him. I had serious dental problems before I met him. I needed several root canals. My front teeth looked horrible because of some caps that were done by another dentist. Dr. Giannandrea corrected all of my problems and made the most beautiful new caps for me. He also replaced an old worn out bridge that was tricky because of surrounding teeth with crowns.
He has never hurt me....not once and I have very, very sensitive teeth. Dr. Giannandrea has saved my teeth and always has a calm, positive approach to the work that needs to be done.
His office is small so there is no hyper vibe to the place and no assistants standing around to make you nervous. His office is spotless and you can relax there. I use to have high dental anxiety but Dr Giannandrea has helped me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gianna ndrea for more than 10 years. He is a wonderful dentist. His demeanor is so kind and patient. He will always find time to see yo u no matter how busy he is if you have an emergency. He is also very reasonable and trusts his patients judgment. He will never hurt you in any way.He is a dentist I would recommend without any hesitation.
