Read Reviews for Dr. Veronica Marmara
Marmara is one of the dentists at the American Dental Centers. Her "office" and the dental chair was in a doorless space where I could easily see and be seen by other patients, nurses, and another dentist chair across the hall.
Marmara never spoke directly to me, except to ask if I had a husband (although my form clearly stated I was single) or someone who accompanied me (even though I'm in my mid20s). I could only guess she saw I was Asian and thought I didn't speak English.
After that, she called me "young girl," but never said my name, and also didn't say anything else except calling out a number and saying things in code. She examined my teeth for about a minute. She didn't bother to explain what any of this meant, and I only found out after five minutes of this from the nurse in the room that I needed a root canal and had five cavities. The nurse sent me out to get appointments, and as I was waiting by the desk, Marmara rushed out of the office with her bag, telling the nurses that she was leaving for her vacation.
I'm sure vacations are important, but I was given no customer service and got no explanation of the welfare of my teeth OR the services I was to get from her in the future.
