Dr. Ryan Johansen is a hack that can't work on your children's teeth without drugging them or putting them under. The office is nice and the customer service seems okay at first but it is all superficial niceties. The dentist himself has no personality and feels sedated himself. He has zero bedside manner and that is why he wants to drug your child. He worked on my kid once with no problems and saw my kid again and did not properly numb my child which of course made the work more difficult but she felt it. She began to cry and he was immediately agitated.He has no patience at all which is why he recommends adult doses of valium and gas or putting your child under, he scolded my wife for not putting our kid on drugs in the first place and said he would not work on our sweet daughter again unless she was drugged or put under and then they over charged us even though they did less work the second visit. A merry go round in the office doesn't make for a great dentist..

I've been taking my children to Dr. Johansen for years. He's very gentle and patient. His staff are all so friendly and the office is a great, clean atmosphere to be in. I higly recommend Dr. Johansen.

My sons love Dr Johansen. They are always asking when is it time to go back to the dentist. He has been one sons dentist for 5 years. Even now, my son has no idea he has had shots in his mouth. Another son broke his front tooth and Dr. Johansen fixed the tooth within an hour. We cant even tell which tooth it is. I wish he could be my dentist, but he only works on pediatrics.

I've had many treatments done by Dr. Johansen and his staff, they are wonderful, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. My kids had extremely high anxiety about the dentist until we started going here. Now they look forward to their visits!

I had to have 4 crowns put on my 3 yr olds front teeth. We took him to Primary Childrens since he had to be sedated. As a mother I know I would have worried a lot more about it, but Dr. Johansen was so informative about everything he was doing and very caring. He really talks to you at a parents level rather than a doctors level where you wouldn't understand a thing. I would and have recommended him to friends and family.

The facility is beautiful, and the waiting room has a small merry-go-round children can ride after their exams. Dr. Johansen is gentle and soft-spoken with the children. I love this dentist and so do my kids!
