I am writing this review because of the grief this man has put on my mother and myself. About 8 months ago, my mother had received a crown implant and 3 months ago it had fell out. What a horrible job Dr. Maxson had done. On top of that, I had received a crown around 4-5 months ago, and I was initially very unhappy about it (shaved much of real tooth off) and just last night, the cap had fallen out. I was very annoyed since I am currently attending grad school in Southern California. He lacks the professionalism of a dentist, and frankly I am terrified on coming back because I feel as if he will do another poor job. He also keeps encouraging to put additional implants to make your teeth "perfect" which costs thousands of dollars. By all means please ignore this dentist, he has put much grief on both my mother and me. Thank you.

Dr. Maxson installed 2 crowns. They were too short, and I was advised that if I would purchase veneers at the cost of $1500.00 each, that the short crowns would NOT be a problem. Dr. Maxson refused to adjust the poor bite issue after installing the 2 crowns and left me in pain with a headache developing from the poor bite. I was initially provided an appointment to adjust the bite, then refused the proper service after I was asked about my satisfaction with the crowns. I was honest (I brought impressions of my teeth as proof). He also has X-rays and photos of the teeth before he "fixed" them. We also took photos which I told him we had, there was no excuse for installing crowns that were shorter than the natural teeth, and now they look awful. All to sell $3,000+ in unnecessary cosmetics? Appalling!!! I paid my bill up front, in good faith, and he acted in bad faith by leaving me in pain refusing to fix the bite problem after I told him the truth. His office pushes hard sell tactics and does note let up. If you choose to not pay for cosmetics that do nothing to enhance the health of your teeth, you may be very disappointed. I am now forced to seek help elsewhere because I do not trust this dentist to do what is right, now or ever.
