Dr. P is a high quality dentist who really wants to help you. The staff and environment is great. But my wife and I were having a sense that there was a lot of 'preventative maintainence' being done that wasn't necessary, which causes pocket costs to increase. I still believe if it isn't broke don't fix it. A recent crown procedure yeilded some pain, the solution, with no hesitation...root canal!! Not much problem solving. In addition, my wife had a cleaning and before she left they kindly requested payment for a minor filling that she would need to schedule in two weeks. Yes, paying for work that hadn't been completed. This made us uneasy and we desiced to look elsewhere. Undoubtedly, he is a good dentist and people will really like him, just be cautious. Lastly, there scheduling can be less than desirable. Because of an issue of there own, they bumped my wife's prodedure out another month and a half to the next opening with no apology, I didn't agree with that especially we considered the error on there part.
