For the longest time I struggled with self-esteem issues with my teeth. I went to a consultation with a orthodontist in the Northeast Philadelphia area when I was about 12 years old, but the only problem was my mom could not afford it. I was so upset and from that moment on I was very self conscious all through middle school and high school. I never would smile in pictures, and would often hold my hand over my mouth when I was laughing at joke or etc. I vowed to myself that the moment I was able to afford braces I would have no hesitation to make my appointment to get it.
When I was about 18 years old, I over heard my hairdressers talking about a local orthodontist on Street road in Bensalem. My hairdresser actually had braces and had them for about 2 years. So I began asking questions because her teeth were so straight and looked amazing. My stylist and her associate had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Hodges practice. So when I left I began researching on the internet, and began looking at Dr. Hodges website. I saw that she offered a free consultation, and I actually scheduled one shortly after that. Unfortunately, I did not follow through with the appointment. I just wasn't 100% sold on my job and my income that I didn't want to put myself into debt.
About a year later, my aunt goes to a practice for her consultation, and that day she had to pay a records fee for $300 and a huge down payment for her to begin. My aunt went two years and had many problems, where people that I was running into that I knew personally did nothing but rave Dr. Hodges practice. So I went ahead and I scheduled my appointment, and I actually followed through. Walking into the office I was nervous, but soon put at ease because the women at the front desk were so nice and warming! No sooner did I fill out the info they needed, I was called into the back. The place smelled so good, they had nice candles burning and flowers. It wasn't your typical Dentist office. Every girl I met that day was so nice and knew what they were talking about. Once I met Dr. Hodges I was pretty much sold, there wasn't any ridiculous down payment and the monthly payments were so affordable! I was so happy!
I now have braces, and I have already built my confidence up within a few months. I am so happy and can not wait to see my smile once I am done treatment because I am already amazed at the difference! I will refer this place to anyone, and I hope this information is helpful for anyone with the problem I had.

The office staff is not compassionate and only care about money. They are rude, inconsiderate and do not communicate. They act as though they hate their lives and their jobs. The only staff members that are nice are the poor techs that have to care for your teeth. I only met Dr. Hodges once which was during my consult. Do not go here or you will be treated like garbage!

Simply the best! My son had a very severe case that needs careful attention. Dr. Hodges treated me as if he was her only patient. She didn't rush to get us out of the office or anything. She took her time and explained everything to him so there was no anxiety. In no time, he looked forward to going to her more than the regular dentist. She is quite the doctor!

She filed down my two front teeth, now it does not go with the rest of my teeth. It was also filed uneven and is slanted. My teeth has grown out, now the teeth that she filed is too close together. I had a beautiful smile, before the braces. Since she filed my two front teeth, I do not feel my smile is beautiful and it does not look like my natural smile. She filed it the first day, I got the braces. She should have waited to see how my teeth would grow out first. What do I do now about my two front teeth?

My daughter's teeth have shifted into and then out ot their correct position. The visits are too far apart (8 weeks) for the office to accurately monitor the process.
