Dr Annie is the best dentist I have seen. She was so nice and compassionate the entire time. As far as the procedure, she was more like a artist working on her master piece. I had a temporary cap put in while she sent the molds out to a lab to make a permanent crown. I have to say I hope the lab created crown looks as good as the temp she made on the spot. It looks so natural I can hardly believe that I'm not looking at my original tooth. I will be switching to Dr. Yu for all of my dental needs. Absolutely loved her.

I have just switched my family to dr. Annie Yu as our family dentist and I am extremely impressed. She is so detailed and professional and she is clearly passionate about her practice, service to patients, and teeth. I have never had a dentist-or any doctor-spend so much time with me, explaining everything about the condition and care of my teeth and gums. She spent 2 1/2 hour with me answering questions and just providing such an amazing level of care and service. It is rare to find a doctor who is so generous with their time and services. My 5 yr old son also had an appointment and she was just wonderful with him. He was very nervous but she was so sweet and gentle and he spent most of the appointment laughing and giggling. His birthday was a few days after the appointment, which he happened to mention to her, and she sent him a handwritten birthday card on her personal stationary. I could go on and on...she is fabulous and I have absolute confidence in her. I would highly recommend Dr. Yu!!! (PS-I wanted to rate her as 5 stars for price...I received a great price far below the high level of service. This site wouldn't allow me to give 5 stars for price AND say it was like a health spa, but she deserves 5 stars for price too.

About Front Desk: Marissa is amazing. I felt like we were old friends just based on our phone conversations when I was scheduling our first appointments. She is detailed, professional and so nice, and her follow through was very impressive (phone and email reminders)

In the past 8 months I have had alot of dental work done. I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, then had 4 root canals as well as aesthetic work done in the front. Dr. Yu performed all of this and in time for my wedding. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, after which I had no swelling or pain. It was so easy that my wife had the same work done about a month ago and had the same results. I then had the 4 root canals. I was running short on time before my wedding, but Dr. Yu, as well as the staff at her office, went out of their way to make sure that it was done in time. It was perfect. The entire staff at the Washington Center for Dentistry is top notch, though I do have to give my high praise to Dr. Yu as she performed every step of the process. Dr. Yu is always working with a smile on her face, and now thanks to her, so can I!

About Hygienist: Before all of the work I had listed above, I had a couple deep cleanings. Moira was great. Friendly, quick and painless. The same goes for the many staff members that stepped in to assist or even just to say hi.

I got an appointment with Dr. Yu when I broke a molar in half and my regular Dr. (Dr. Doctors) at the Washington Center for Dentistry was on sick leave. I decided to go forward with Dr. Yu sight unseen because of the high regard I have for Dr. Doctors and the Washington Center for Dentistry. My experience... Dr. Yu is absolutely THE BEST. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Dr. Yu is very capable, yet personable, made me very comfortable, and described each procedure before moving forward. She gave me injections to numb the tooth root and I did not even feel it (sorry Dr. Doctors, but she's a lot better than you at it!! Ha ha!!). She prepped the remaining tooth for a crown with great efficiency and skill. The temporary crown was perfect. When I went back for the permanent crown, same thing... Wonderful feeling of collaboration between Dr. Yu and her assistant. Injection to numb the nerve and I never felt it. The crown fit perfectly, without adjustment, drilling, grinding, surfacing or whatever. Can't say enough about Dr. Yu. She also worked extremely well with her two assistants, Ebony and ...?? (opps, for got the name). Courteous and respectful of one another. A real team. Just outstanding. Great job Dr. Yu!

About Hygienist: Wow!! Ebony just sparkles. She worked closely with Dr. Yu in very good spirits and in a very professional manner. She described everything that was going on. She did the gum retraction work (with that special waxed string) exceedingly well. That's not the most pleasant procedure, but she did it with literally 1/10 the discomfort of other doctors (sorry Dr. Doctors, but she's a lot better than you at it!! Ha ha!!). Great experience with Dr. Yu, Ebony and Dr. Yu's other assistant.
