I was on vacation with my family and the day we were leaving to come home I started having pain in my tooth. By the time I got off the plane the pain got worse.. I called my girlfriend to see if she can recommend a dentist to me, it has been a few years since I have seen one. She highly recommended Dr. Sedell to me. I quickly called his office to see if I would be able to see him today. A woman answered the phone and I told her my situation. She put me on hold and a few minutes later Dr. Sedell got on the phone to talk to me. He caught me off guard didn't think I would be speaking with him personally. He asked me a few question about the pain I was having, and if hot and cold was bothering my tooth,. Dr Sedell asked if I was able to come in today? We will take an x ray and see what is going on. I said yes I will come today thank you. I was so appreciative that he was able to see me right away. When I got to his office I opened the door and was welcomed by a woman with a friendly warm smile. She asked me to please fill out some paper work and while I was seating there I started to relax a little. The waiting room was very bright and colorful with great art work on all the walls. After I filled out the paper work I was told to please follow her. I took a seat in the chair and Dr Sedell came in and introduced himself to me. We spoke a few minutes and then he took a look at my teeth and took a few x rays. Dr. Sedell then told me that I will need a root canal on that tooth. He said that he can start it today so he can get me comfortable and have the pain go away. He explain what he was going to be doing and asked me if I had any questions for him. His assistance came in and he started. He asked me several times if I feel anything if I was ok. By the time he was done doing the first part of the root canal my pain was gone. I felt much better and thanked him so much for taking me the same day that I called him. He gave me instruction what to do if I should have an pain or discomfort. He said we can set up another appointment for the following week for him to finish the root canal. I went upfront got my appointment for the following week and was on my way. A few hours later my phone rang and it was Dr. Sedell calling me to see how I was feeling after the work he did.. I was surprised to hear from him. It was much appreciated. I would recommend Dr. Sedell, he was kind, patient, understanding, and thorough.
I hope I won't need another root canal but if I do I don't need to call my girlfriend this time, I will without a doubt go back to see Dr. Sedell.

I came to Dr. A Sedell with tooth pain and a problem. He explained in detail what were my issues and my possible options. He gave me so much knowledge, that when I left his office I felt as if I were a dentist myself. My next visit involved extraction of a tooth without ANY pain during the procedure. That night he followed up with a telephone call, showing his concern for my well being. He explained the financial order of billing to my complete satisfaction.
He really dedicated his time and shared his concern for my condition; in no way did I feel rushed as is the way of the world today.
His assistant Lucy was very warm and kind, she made me feel comfortable and less nervous.
I recommend Dr. Allan Sedell and his office to everyone. Thank you.

After poorly done, inadequate root canals by a general dentist, I finally found Dr. Sedell. He does beautiful precision/highly intricate work. In 2016, a tooth was so painful that he gave me an immediate appointment and diagnosed that only one half of the canal had originally been treated resulting in a bad infection needing a microscopic apicoectomy. Shortly after the procedure, Dr. Sedell did a scan and resolved the other endodontic problems that had been bothering me for years. He always followed up with me by phone to see how I was doing. The office is very friendly and they make you comfortable and reassured during the treatments. Actually, the cost for a 3 root, more complicated retreatment of a molar was only slightly higher than a single root, failed treatment from the general dentist.

This is one amazing doctor. His office staff was great. His facility was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The environment was so comfortable and relaxing. Dr. Sedell is totally professional,polite,sensitive, understanding, compassionate and caring. A doctor that cares 100% about his patients and takes pride in his work. He calls personally to ask how you are and has his staff make sure you follow up on your appointments. I cannot say enough about this doctor and I am forever grateful for the care I received.
