I stopped seeing Dr. Phillips in late 2011. He had then recently fitted me with two new crowns. Due to pain and swelling of one of the crowns, my physician reccommended a particular specialist, in order to get an unbiased opinion. Following an exam of the two new crowns, she first discovered a large empty 'pocket' beneath my gum where food debris could accumulate and then she showed me my x-rays. She was quite upset/aggravated when she pointed out that my jawbone was seriously infected. She was adamant that the crown should never have been placed without a final x-ray beforehand. She said that without a serious course of antibiotics (which she prescribed) my jawbone would have become necrotic. Until that afternoon I considered him the kindest, most gentle and considerate dentist I had ever met. I had told him about the pain and a small abcess while he worked on the tooth - but because he didn't seem concerned, I trusted him to the point of ignoring my own good judgement! I still haven't found a new dentist. I need one ... but due to this experience I don't know whom to trust now.

About Front Desk: Since I had been going there so many years, we were all quite familiar with each other. We even knew all about each others pets!

About Hygienist: I really like the orginal hygienist but I only saw the 'new' one but once.

i went to this dentist back in 2009 to have him look at my wisdom teeth i did x rays and was told that i would need to see an oral surgeon because all were impacted, which is fine, but then when leaving his office i was told by his front desk that my insurance would be covering a teeth cleaning so i agreed thinking that my insurace was covering this, well this was not a truthful statement from the front dest and i was left with a 800 dolloar bill for deep pocket cleaning, they had been billing me and my mother on the same bill for over 3 years and mom has been making payments and now they sent me to collection and have filied a lawsuit agianst me for this teeth cleaning, i find it unjust that im still here with all 4 of my wisdom teeth and being sued by this office for teeth cleaning that was supposed to be covered, they also offered my mom the same thing she is self pay and she agreed to do teeth cleaning and then after her first quarter she asked how much this would be out of pocket and was told 250 per quad and she stopped doing it, why would you offer a self pay person such an expensive thing with out telling them the cost all he wants is money and if he cant get that he will sue you for somting he says was covered

About Hygienist: and you will still be stuck with the original problem you went there for, so watch out for his offer of a teeth cleaning, i liked the dr him self but dont feel like that was the right thing to do is offer you somthing that is not covered by insurance im highly upset about his and will be talking this to court.

well up untill 2009 when i got my own dental insurace i was pleased then i was going to see this dentist for a eval on my wisdom teeth and he took x rays and was told that they were impacted and that i would need to see an oral surgeon so i was ok with than, on my way out i was told that my insurace will cover a teeth cleaning so i said ok why not if insurance will cover, well in the end im stuck with a bill that states i owe 500 for them cleaning half of my F"**ing teeth, now they would like to garnish my wadges for this and i find that extreamly wrong you should not give false info to a patient i could care less to have half of my teeth cleaned the whole reason i was there was to have my wisdom teeth pulled im highly upset that in the end the whole reason i went there was never solved and im going to get my check garnished over half of my damn teeth cleaned i have no problem paying for the visit with the dentist but this really makes me upset!!! he was a great dentist up untill that point!!!!!!! very upset person right here!!!

About Hygienist: she was ok untill i was billed for something that they offered me and stated that it was covered by insurance, this upsets me extreamly bad

Dr. Phillips is an awesome dr. I couldn't be happier with all the treatment I received. I'm usually an easy going person until I have to see the dentist and thanks to Dr. Phillips he has almost depleted that fear. He explains everything in detail and he is so gentle and kind. I hope I will never have to find another dentist again.

Dr Phillips is a compassionate dentist and has worked on my teeth for the past six years. I have always felt comfortable in his office with his staff and his procedures. I had an implant and a couple of front crowns done. They have really improved my confidence level when speaking to people. My teeth look great!

About Hygienist: The cleaning i had was very thorough my teeth felt "smooth" after the visit.

Scott phillips is losing his touch. I have spent the last 3 months getting the teeth he has worked on redone elsewhere. I would not recommend you waste your time in his office. I have seen him get frustrated and blame his staff for things they would never do.
