Dr. Todd Bertman is my all time favorite dentist. He and his staff are always friendly and professional. The practice is up to date, modern and clean. Customer service is awesome and everyone is always on their game at Advanced Dental Arts. Dr. B is always up to date with new technology as well. I love it!!

I was warmly welcomed at reception. But more importantly, Dr Bertman was extremely attentive and able to attend to my aching tooth. He also spent some additional time with me to address a separate issue and was able to fix it! Thanks.

I am starting a lawsuit against Dr. Todd Bertman for gross negligence&this guy DRILLED INTO MY TONGUE AND HAD TO STITCH IT AS A RESULT!!! In addition to much pain I was on an all-liquid diet for two weeks following the injury. I am slowly recovering, but still cannot chew solid food.
To add insult to injury, his explanation was to blame me.. your tongue jumped in the way of the drill&you must have had to swallow or something. This is ludicrous because I was under anesthesia, making it impossible for me to feel my tongue
Further, his dismissive attitude that this is a common occurrence&happens all the time and hes only drilled into two peoples tongues in the last 10 years is appalling&and signals to me that a third person is at risk for this dangerous error.

Dr. Bertman has repaired my broken molars, put in front crowns, filled my cavities and helped me develop a plan with his wonderful hygienist to take care of my gums. He is incredibly skilled and has the best chairside manner of any dentist I've ever seen. He answers all my questions, respects my need for a pain free dental experience, and sincerely cares about my dental health and maintenance. His office is beautiful and calming. His receptionists are helpful and informative. He accepts many different kinds of insurance and is always available if you have a dental emergency. I used to go to him when he was in a shared practice but he has since opened up his own shop--Advanced Dental Arts, P.C. and I am taking the time to post a review about him because I know how hard it is to find a great dentist in NYC.
About Hygienist: The hygenist at Advanced Dental Arts/Dr. Bertman is incredibly thorough and at the same time unbelievably gentle. My teeth feel fantastic after my cleanings.
