Dr. Lima became my dentist when I became an 18 year old adult and could choose my own dentist. I have had absolutely no complaints with him or his staff. I had about 8 cavities filled or redone, a root canal on a badly infected tooth, and a gelb made for my mouth, in addition to regular cleanings. I am very squeamish and really don't handle needles and pain well, so Dr. Lima's use of laughing gas was the reason I first chose his practice. I normally have to have a lot of novocaine to become numb and those shots did hurt as I believe they were deep, but I would expect some pain/discomfort.
All billing, phone contacts and postcard reminders have been fine. Once I arrived an hour late to an appointment having written it down incorrectly and no one seemed at all annoyed that I had come at the wrong time.
Dr. Lima's facilities are in an old house next to a school on the main street in London. One of the treatment rooms is in what used to be a sun porch, which I like. In recent years they have added cable TV to all the treatment rooms and you're given a remote control to watch what you'd like. I never really took advantage of this feature as I never really had to wait very long.
