Ever since as a small kid I have been visiting Dr. Shah for my regular dental check ups and fillings. One of the most compassionate and gentle doctors i know! She puts me at ease and i don't feel apprehensive when i have my dental appointment. I look forward to my visits every 6 months! She gave me Amazing Smile after minor ortho Tt. and now my fiance is also her patient and He is happy with her.My whole family love her.

Anyone in the Somerset NJ, looking for a dentist, look no further. Somerset Dental pc at 1707 rte. 27 south is the place to go. Dr. Mita Shah is wonderful, she is very gentle and caring, every other dentist that I have ever went to was always looking to make money and would do a root canal with a crown right away, I had 2 teeth with deep cavities that she thought would need root canals but when she started the work decided to not do the root canal and just do the crown. While I waited for the crowns to be delivered I had temporary crowns and during that wait time would tell if I would really need the root canal. I am so grateful for her judgement on not doing the root canals right away because I did not need them. What a savings! Dr Shah always personally makes follow up calls herself to see how you are doing no matter what work was done
I could go on and on about how great Somerset Dental pc is but you really need to see for yourself, believe me it is worth the drive.
About Front Desk: Neha who handles the cost for the work and your insurance coverage is awesome!! She is so helpful and the most honest person. I don't want to forget to mention that all of the staff is very friendly and caring.

I went to dr shah with my husband had terrible experience with her she didn't actually cared a lot like my last dentist it was only cleaning which was very painful for both me and my husband she only took 10 min and my mouth was hurting for two days I couldn't eat anything it was bad decision we made to see her they even didn't bother to call us back when they told us they wil because both of needed more care for our teeth but we asked them to call our insurance and let us know how much will they cover and it's been a month no call the office it self was not professional I heard them talking bad about one other patient who had procedure done the same day and the doc asked me if I understand what they were talking about when I told her its hurting a lot she actually got pissed off I was scared I will never go back to her I would rate 0 for everything office follow up Doctor their behavior etc not a good experience.????????

A month ago was my 1st visit with Dr. Shah. She was terrific!!! We had a thorough conversation about any issues I was having. This was followed by a complete set of x-rays and cleaning. Everything went so well and smoothly ,Best cleaning without any pain and I got tooth colored filling. My sister"s wedding is in a month & I need teeth whitening. She thoroughly explained which whitening is good for me and today first time having my teeth whitened and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Shah gave me dazzling smile She is the perfect combination of professional and personable and I highly recommend her to friends & family..She has very friendly staff. Love you guys.

I am getting my Tt. with Dr. shah Since 1994. & always pleased with the work perfomed by her. First time I visited her for second opinion for root canal Tt. which was recommonded by another dentist. I was scared about that. I went to her she took x- ray & did some tests. then she told me may be you don't get r.c.t.I can try to save tooth by filling. She did some emergency filling and asked me to wait two months.After that she asked me if I had any pain or discomfort.I didn't had any complaint. So then she put permenent filling.It's been 15 yrs & still I have this filling.Thanks to her for saving my tooth & kept me away from lots of pain & spending money. Also her staff is wonderful. They provide quality honest dental care in a warm, friendly, gental, & proffessional manner. Great Dentist. I would like to recommoned her to every body.

I am an 70 yo woman. i came to Dr. shah because my dentist told me he could not fix my teeth. i had very bad teeth and lost my smile and cant chew. My old dentist had told me he can not fix them but Dr. Shah disagreed. Over the next 8 months she redid my smile and now I have a bright white smile that never stop shining. I can honestly say that yes, office-wise, its up-to date with new technology, great dental assistants, and new-looking facilities. But thats not what I am here to talk about. Dr Shah was extremely personable and caring to my situation. She understood that I wasnt trying to just look good, but my new teeth and smile would allow me to be happier and eat with my family/friends with no pain. We became friends and she listened to me talk and called me often to see how i was doing - even when my services had ended for my teeth. i never felt a lot of pain with her, both physically and pocketwise! Since i only had social security, she gave me a flexible payment plan and let me pay her throughout the service over that year. NO dentist would take me before that due to my difficult case and inability to pay a lot at one time. Dr. shah is very knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate. She changed my smile and my life!
About Hygienist: There is no hygienist per say I guess, but there is a dental assistant. She was very nice and tried to make feel as comfortable as possible. I really liked how well the doctor and her got along as they made the office a happier place to be - not like a stereotypical dental office. She was also VERY knowledgable and in addition, SO funny! She kept the office clean and bright and worked well with the patients and the doctor.
