Very personable office, with state of the art equipment.
My husband had been seeing her for many years when I started seeing her. On the first visit my teeth were in good health, but I wanted my old silver fillings replaced with the newer tooth colored fillings.
After having almost all of them replaced, and two weeks before a vacation I went in to have another replaced. During the visit, I explained that I had experienced alot of pain after the prior replacement. Dr. Svino asked, "Have you ever heard of Ibuprofen?"
I was hurt by the comment, but let it go. While on vacation I began experiencing a great deal of pain again. So much so, that I paid for a dentist, out of pocket, to have it looked at. He fixed the bit, which was off, and suggested I have xrays when I got home. 2 days later, I was in the emergency room. I was prescribed an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory, and told to see a dentist as soon as I got home.
When I got home I went to a different dentist, who discovered the last 2 teeth that had been filled, needed root canals because they had died while infected.
I have since had to have all of the fillings she replaced redone because of deterioration "under" the fillings. Which means she didn't prepar

When I started going to Dr. Svino's office, the receptionist was warm and inviting, the assistants were friendly and gentle. Dr. Svino was charming and attentive, and gentle. Since her life has changed and she is now married, she seems to have shed her gentleness and charming personality. Now she comes across as conceited and rough. Sadly, my children begged not to go there anymore. The dental assistant (dark haired girl) is rude, bossy, and does not have a very nice chair side manner. She is very opinionated and seems to take her moodiness out on the patient. She needs to work elsewhere. Dr. Svino is not good with children, very impatient, which is not the way children should be treated when they go to the dentist. I do not recommend this dentist office to anyone, Dr. Svino needs to get herself and crew to a training facility, they seem to forget that we are paying them to work on our teeth...
About Hygienist: There is no hygienist, just dental assistants performing, and then Dr. Svino takes over...gentle does not come to mind with this office, like the old saying says "do not believe everything you read".

Dr Svino and her staff are exceptional. I had many fears returning to the dentist after a horrible experience at an ortho's office to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Nina and her dental staff were more than accommodating and extremely gentle during my entire experience. I, however, didn't have a pleasant experience with their front desk assistant (Kelsey), but I've heard she's no longer working there. She watched my child during a quick cleaning once and gave her candy as well as many things she could choke on (not something you want to do to a 2yr old). I couldn't believe that. But she's since been fired for her negligence. Good to get rid of bad eggs, because this is a top-notch dental practice and bad eggs don't belong. Many of my friends in my mom's group attend Nina's practice and all are please as well. Nina is also associated with some of the top periodontists and orthos in the north seattle area. It's nice to feel you have a "team" of people taking care of all your dental needs.

I have always had a pleasant experience at Dr. Svino's dental office. Her office is so warm and comfortable, and the staff has always been attentive and friendly to me during any of my visits. I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist and they have really changed my mind on what going to the dentist is like!

This office continues to get worse and worse. The assistant who is now there, is horrible. I have left with headaces and my jaw has felt like it was torn open. The bottom line they act as if they dont want to be there. Hygienist and front desk were ok, often times the hygienist and or front office presenting treatment. (I always thought that was the Doctors Job). As the doctor was standing there with her head in the clouds. If you want quality I recommend Gentle Dental before these guys.

dr svirno did the cleaning herself. not as thorough as what i'm used to. she recommended alot of very expensive cosmetic proceedures even though i firmly stated i was only interested in maintaining the health of my teeth. she sent me to a very pricey specialist in bellevue and he disagreed with her diagnosis. i'm not going back. looking for a dentist who listens

All the latest and greatest dental equipment... Have a root canal? Watch dvds on flat panel screens, while they work. Everyone there caters to peoples needs, and the office is a spa like enviroment, including massage table. As with anything nice, it costs.
