Dr. Palian was recommended by a friend. I went in for a very long over due checkup. I knew that I needed some major work done and I was prepared. I was told that I needed some deep scaling as well as some restorative work on one of my teeth.
I first started with the restorative work and Dr. Palian make sure that I felt as little disconfort as as possible which made the experience overall relatively anxiety free.
The deep scaling although not what I would call a "fun" experience was done with the utmost of care.
Dr. Palian as well as his staff are very caring and throughtful individuals and very pleasant.
The office has taken care of all of my insurance questions and always submit my claims in a timely fashion.
I would highly recommend Dr. Palian to others (and I have). This is the first time in quite a long time that I really look forward to going to the dentist.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are both very caring, gentle and take the time to explain the proper way of cleaning your teeth.

This office is highly recommended. The doctor is very caring and the staff is friendly. He did 2 crowns and 1 root canal on me and I didn't feel anything. He was cheaper than other dentists in the area. (I called around for lack of insurance.) I have since brought my wife and 2 of my friends to this office.

So far, my experience with this doctor has been absolutely positive. Above all, he is a bit less expensive than most dentists in DC - that also attracts me to this dentistry.

Dr. Palian is not good with difficult cavity issues or root canals. I have had several re-treatments for my root canals that he performed.

He filled cavaties with the newest and best technology -- now I don't even know which tooth he put them in, they are that good!!
With him you truly understand the phrase "painless dentistry."

I have been very, very pleased with Dr. Palian and his office staff. The office is always clean. The staff is polite, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Palian is knowledgable and completely professional.
I also particularly like that there are TVs in the treatment rooms for patients, and they wrap the remote in fresh sanitary plastic for each new patient!

I was a patient of Dr. Palian's for 4 or 5 years after a recommendation from a co-worker. I found him and his staff to be completely friendly, professional, and thorough. The office is small and comfortable. You hardly know you're in the middle of D.C. I recommended him to another friend/co-worker; she loved him! Now the three of us fight over who's dentist he is ("He's MY dentist," "No, he's MY dentist"). I can only hope to find someone as good as he is here in New York!
