The office was very nice. The hygienist did a great job with the teeth cleaning. However, they had to give me multiple shots to numb the area, and then my teeth were cold-sensitive for 8 months after having a cavity filled.

I used to enjoy going to the dentist before my experience here. I've had cleanings (great hygenists, pleasant personalities), fillings, and crown work. I have experienced Dr. Crisafulli's office as having high pressure sales, regardless of the patient's ability to pay, including suggesting a root canal that I did not need. The front desk is sometimes nice, sometimes brusque. The last crown I had installed, I experience a fair amount of pain during the procedure. When I informed the Dr, she said "You shouldn't be feeling anything," and didn't do anything to correct it. I have never had any billing problems with them. Most disturbingly, though, Dr. C was sanctioned by the WA Dept of Health for prescribing controlled substances to herself. She's not the worst dentist, but she's not the best.

The facilites look nice, and they have small TVs patients can watch during the procedures. I did have a good experience with the dental hygenists - little pain and they were very nice. However, my feeling after going there for 3 years is that I needed to find a new dentist. If all you need is general cleaning, this office would be fine. However, if you have any difficulties at all, good luck! They pressured me to spend more money than I had available, the front desk staff would be brusque when I needed to talk to someone after hours, and I found legal evidence that Dr. Crisafulli was written up on charges that she wrote herself a prescription for a controlled substance on one of her colleagues' pads. I would rate the work done on my teeth as very average. Once, when having work for a crown, I was experiencing pain. I was told it was "impossible" because the root was deadened (with novacain) and the pain was due to my fear over the procedure. I found this offensive and incorrect (I wasn't afraid). But I was annoyed after that! Wendy does participate in community service, which I like to support, and they have a dog in office. For me, the negatives do outweigh the positives.
