Ruined my teeth, was told to extract front adult teeth, being 14 at the time I really had no say in the matter. Fast forward 5 years after I got my braces off and I am now extremely self-conscious about my huge gaps in my front teeth that are only repairable by getting $6000+ veneers. A common flaw in the dentist industry is the view that teeth need to be extracted due to crowding.

The small space that I was closing should have been done in under a year. Deciding to get braces at 40yrs old is bad enough but having a dentist that creates other spaces and want to leave them is crazy. I haven't been wearing these things for a year and a half to walk away with new spaces between my teeth. I don't get this guy at all.
