Dr. Blank's office offers a broad range of services and uses progressive techniques. Dr. Blank replaced fillings in 2 teeth for me that had been fused together by a prior dentist. He did an excellent job! I feel comfortable and confident that I am getting the best care when I go there. They dealt with my insurance and I didn't have to pay anything upfront. The office is on Clark Street, on a major bus route and just blocks from the Fullerton exit off of Lakeshore Drive--in an up-beat neighborhood surrounded by plenty of shops to browse in, and restaurants to stop by for a bite. There is convenient parking with reasonably-priced metered parking spots in front of and across the street from the building. They also validate parking in a near-by lot (the Lincoln Park Market). They take new patients and it's easy to get an appointment. You get a courtesy phone call the day before as a reminder. I'm a high-maintenance person who asks a ton of questions. Dr. Blank is very patient and kind. I would never have imagined that I could find a skilled professional dentist who could informatively discuss with me anything from neuroscience to dating. I would highly recommend this dentist--quality work and great customer service!
About Hygienist: I went to Dr. Blank's for the first time after having my teeth straightened with Invisalign. I have always taken good care of my teeth, but I had a good deal of staining from where my teeth had overlapped prior to correction. Irena did what I thought was impossible and removed all of the staining. She spent more time on my teeth than any hygienist has before and my teeth looked better than ever. Today I had another hygienist named Cecelia for my routine cleaning, and she was also very good.

Dr. Blank made me feel so much better about going to the dentist. I really liked him and all of his office staff. He told me that he didn't want me to be afraid of the dentist anymore when I left, and he accomplished that goal.
I also have a lot of respect for him. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School, and he talked with me like he was interested in what I had to say. The whole time they were drilling my teeth, he kept asking me if I was OK. I had three fillings done that day, and they look awesome! I think dentists are also artists in a way!
About Hygienist: Didn't meet with hygienist but his dental assistant was awesome! She kept all that drill crap out of the back of my mouth.

I was lucky to find Dr. Blank. I went to his office for a routine cleaning, and it was determined that I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted. This was easily performed at his office 2 weeks later, without having to go to an oral surgeon. The co-pay for this procedure was a lot cheaper than I expected, and his service was excellent. I'd recommend him to anyone.

The replacement of a chip on a front tooth never matched original tooth color. All other aspects of the office were good.
