Regardless of the false review for Dr. Sachdev, I truly believe that he is an amazing dentist. Having recently visited, his office has changed within the last year. With re-construction and beautifying of the office, he continued to smoothly run his work simulatenously. My whole family has been going to him for many years. Everyone from my parents to my children. He is very kind-hearted and makes sure everyone is satisfied. His office is constantly busy when I go to visit him and he satisfies everyone's dental needs while making sure not to have anyone waiting for too long. His staff and he, himself speak Spanish as well as English. I have never chosen to go to another dentist after Dr Sachdev. Plus, everyone calls him the "singing dentist" as he plays calming instrumental music throughout the day, and often hums to his tunes. His office is beautiful and the service is terrific. I highly recommend Dr. Sachdev to anyone in need of a change of dentist. -Pauline

I came to Dr. Sachdev for some fillings after my former dentist, Dr. David Klim, left my insurance carrier. Dr. Sachdev was the closest dentist at the time under my insurance, Blue Shield of California. It was not a good experience. The lobby was hot and dirty and the staff curt, but the treatment experience was the worst. After treating me to the screams of another patient, Dr. Sachdev came by, administers a standard dose of Novocaine, and mentions to the staff that he is late for another appointment elsewhere. After waiting only a few minutes, the doctor returns and without a word prepares for drilling. When I complain that I am not yet numb, he delivers another shot of novocaine and waits another minute or so before drilling. Owing to the short time between administration and drilling, I am still not full anesthetized, but when I complain again his only response is more novocaine. While drilling, people walking by bumped his chair repeatedly. After the high quantities of novocaine wore off, I discovered that the filling was defective -- the amalgam bridged across two teeth, making it impossible to floss. But rather than return, I went back to my home dentist -- Douglas Arakawa, in Palo Alto -- for a replacement.
