When I moved to Charlotte 7 years ago I was very nervous because we had a really good pediatric dentist in NY; but I was pleasantly suprised when we started going to Dr Savage and Laxer, Long and Savage. Not only did we find a great pediatric dentist, but an awesome facility that my kids actually enjoy going to. I will say that again, my kids actually like going to the dentist! With wall to wall video games and a great staff the kids are always at ease. My kids are always in and out of the back and never complain about pain. Dr Savage does a great job interacting with the kids and even a better job sharing the info with th parents.
If you don't want to have to bribe your kids to go to the dentist than give Dr Savage a visit at Laxer, long and Savage

Our son has been a patient of Dr Savage at LL&S for 4 years he had extenseive damage due to the medications he was on as a premie, Dr Savage and his staff have been wonderful in correcting all of our sons issues and setting him up for a future free of dental problems. His staff is kind and considerate, front desk staff is help full and efficient. The office is very kid fiendly with games and TV's to keep their attention, away from the work being done. and also nice for the waiting family. You will pay a premium but when it comes to results and headache free child dentistry they are the ones.

My daughter "freaked out" at the dentist's office my husband and I use so he recommended a pediatric dentist. She has had very pleasant experiences with Dr. Savage. The first visit they take a picture with your child and the dentist. The appointment cards look like a movie ticket. On her second visit she was given a nice T-shirt. Dr. Savage is very friendly, encouraging, and genuine.

We had been with another dentist for years out of a sense of loyalty. But, when my daughter all of a sudden had 6 cavities, loyalty went out the window. Dr. Savage fit us into his busy schedule right away and had my daughter good to go in 4 visits. She is no longer afraid of the dentist. Dr. Savage and his staff are WONDERFUL. I highly recommend him.

My 3 year old went to see Dr. Savage as his first dental experience, and I was very pleased. Dr. Savage and his staff do a fantastic job of helping children feel comfortable and unafraid of having their teeth cleaned. The entire staff is friendly and courteous to the patients as well as the parents. Two years later, my son now thinks going to the dentist is a fun thing to do!
