Dr. Chatterjee runs a fraudulent operation, plain and simple.
I was charged (Credit card) $6000 for a surgery that never happened, and then she tried to weasel out of refunding my money! She claimed that I did not give "sufficient cancellation notice" and was therefore not going to give me a refund, however, according to her own appointment card, 24 hours advance notice was all that was neccessary to cancel. I gave her 1 WEEK advance notice!
She refused to provide me with a written estimate of the work to be done and the total amount of the surgery, but gave me a verbal estimate of $4600 out of pocket (After insurance). She also failed to provide me with the reason I was charged $6000 nearly one month before the scheduled surgery!
Her staff made several promises they never kept, I was lied to repeatedly, and she even belittled me for wanting to seek a second opinion. Then she wondered why I did not reschedule the appointment! What a complete scam!
Long story short, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM DR. CHATTERJEE AS YOU CAN!

This dentist has made me feel so bad that i am now terrified to go to the dentist. The dental assistant that works there is very rough with the tools and very unprofessional. They talk about their employees negatively while they are drilling your teeth. I was always terrified and in pain every time I went there. I cried before I would go because I knew they would not be nice to me. It wasn't the dentist as much as it was the dental assistant. She is scary! Do not go here! I have since gone to a new dentist that is very gentle and caring, He nor his assistants has ever made me feel bad.

I guess my review (s) keep getting booted because my review is very negative.
First, of course you will feel no pain because they give you IV sedation. So your opinion about pain when given IV sedation is not relevent to those who can not afford the nearly $1000 extra to be IV sedated.
I thought that I needed to be sedated and this office convinced me that I needed to be. But when I saw the bill for $9,100 I did not feel that I need sedation at that price.
I found that this office uses your fear of dentists against you in order for you to pay the out-RAGE -ous bill. I went to another dentist and was given Valium and N20 (laughing gas) and did just fine and I am scared to death of dentists and did just fine on Valium and gas.
By the way I found out that I did not need the 25+ fillings that Dr. Chatt said I needed, nor did I need 3 root canals, or 97% of the crap that I was told I needed now! I found out that I needed only 1 root canal, 2 new fillings, and repair of 2 old fillings. My bill was under $3000 versus the $9100 which by the way was an estimate on the latter figure.

I like this dentist very much they are very accommodating and make me feel relaxed. Though the front office seems to have a problem keeping appointments straight. I'm not sure what's going on with that, however everytime they have messed up an appointment they got in right away and corrected their error. They als make out of pocket cost affordable to make payments on if needed.

Dr. Chatterjee,
This dentist is a true professional. She made me feel completely comfortable and explained to me in detail my medical options.
I do not have insurance so this was money well spent.
I HATE going to the dentist, but Dr. Chatterjee made me feel at ease.
I have very sensitive teeth and not once was I in pain!!!
I have tried five different dentists in the Phoenix area and I will not need a sixth!!!
