I started with Dr. Weiner over 20 years. He was the best dentist I had ever gone to. This is 2015 and I had not been to him in awhile. Little I knew he retired and Dr. Kaufman died. Well, I feel that the Dr. Weiner should have notified his patients that he was retiring. Just as my primary doctor at Kaiser along with some of the other doctors notified their patients. The dentists now in the office is all the money. It's not as professional anymore as it was in the past. I contacted 2 other people that I knew that with to Dr. Weiner and OMG, they said the same thing, "it's all about that dollar". I no longer go there and the other 2 people also. They said the same thing. I have 2 dental insurance. Once one was completed Dr. Weiner's staff pulled from the next. I need a root canal and they said how much it would be and that my portion would be 500.00. I never paid 50.00 with Dr. Weiner's staff because both of my insurance covered everything. Now what do you think? And this came from the other 2 people also. I am also afraid of the needle. But Dr. Weiner had a way of handling that needle. I don't know any other dentists. But I'm looking for a change. Dr. Weiner where are you and do you have any referrals?

Over the years the service has declined. This office moved from Crenshaw Bl. to Imperial where they had more room. Today I phoned at 3:24 p.m. and seems like someone picked up the phone there were background noises. I must have called back 7 times. It kept happening. Finally it answered with music play (not that you reach whatever office and please stay on the line). I stayed on the line for 15 minutes.Then someone picked up the phone and hug up up--disconnecting me from the call. I called back for an estimate of 16 or so more times and kept getting the music (a few times with the background noise in the beginning). One time it did have an announcement thank you for waiting in the beginning. Then at 4 p.m. when I made another call attempting to get through I get a message that says the office is closed. I will be seeking another Dentist after my appointment tomorrow.

The customer service is very very poor. This is not the place to
go if you want to be treated fairly. From the phone to office.
He should really consider hiring professional. I would never recommended any one. I was in the office and there was a elderly patient waiting, for almost a hour and noone else was there to be seen. They laugh and play and talk on phone.
Poor Poor treatment of customers. RUDE. If you value your
teeth and you want good service do no go there

He is paitent reassuring and accomdating. He fixed a cracked tooth. first he fixed it then i came back and he put a crown on. it looks beautiful and was less expensive then my last dentist in San Diego
