My mouth was a mess of decay under the amalgums. Dr. Aguilera removed all my metal amalgums, replacing them with non-metal substances. Although this took many, many hours over many visits (quadrant at a time), I have never been more relaxed in a dental chair. He and his staff were sensitive to my needs, and honestly cared about whether or not the job was done to perfection -- and how I felt while it was being done. Dr. Aguilera is also the reason I still have all my teeth. Other dentists recommended pulling some of them. But Dr. Aguilera worked with them so that they are now healthy and all my own! I have felt the positive difference in my overall health as well, once all the decay and infection was removed. Through all these years, no dentist before this ever told me that my teeth were rotting under those horrible metal amalgums. I fly from a different part of the country just to see Dr. Aguilera. Wouldn't change.
About Hygienist: All office and chair-side staff have been totally wonderful. The first time I went -- during which I was in the chair for probably six hours total -- I walked in scared, but soon relaxed because of the manner of staff and dentist alike, as well as the time spent by all of them in explanations. No surprises. I knew exactly what was going on. I liked that. I was treated as a real person by everyone, not as an object or "just another patient." And yes, the office is squeaky clean! Relaxing.

Dr. Aguilera is the finest health care practitioner I have ever met. He removed my amalgams and provided the highest standard of care, both in his professional and compassionate interaction and in his state of the art facilities. Most importantly he takes a systems-view to heath and is a pioneer in amalgam removal. Impossible to recommend him more highly.

Dr. Aguilerra is a miracle worker.
He has saved a couple of my teeth which had split/broke when others would just have pulled them. They feel and look great.
He is REALLY nice, comforting, meticulous,
He is also very expensive but worth it!
