I had replacement veneers that caused major gum issues, returned for treatments and procedures that were in affective. I followed up with another dentist, 2 oral surgeons to find out that the veneer was placed too high into my gum margin which resulted in inflamed and puss gums for YEARS! the fix was to have another dentist work in my mouth, I had to get braces and pull my tooth down in order to replace the veneers properly without gum issues. Dr.S would not refund my money. I paid another $15K in surgeries, braces and new veneers. My last appointment before moving on he told me that I would just have to live my gums and there was nothing he could do. BEWARE!!!!

About Front Desk: Staff was very nice.

I had two crowns replaced and one new crown added. I thought Dr. Selleck and his staff were wonderful. I am afraid of dental work, and they handled it very well. I would highly recommend them. The front office was also very helpful in handling the medical coverage.

I had Dr Selleck fix work done wrong by another local dentist. Dr Selleck is so friendly and does such a good job. My teeth are perfect now because of him.

About Hygienist: She is awesome, sweet and professional. They use a type of water pressure to clean my teeth and it's nearly painless

extremely kind, caring, wanted patient to be happy with results, moved up to fancy office prices are for those of upper class, now on medicare/ss most likely could not afford him now, moved to Monterey area, long distance drive ended up being to hard to remain his patient, found his staff was always nice and helpful, at times his wife worked there, extremely nice. Always recommend him. Consider myself high maintenance, scared too death, always.

The worst non-communicative dentist care that I have ever experienced. Dr.Selleck made promises and assurances that he did not uphold. My experience with his veneer work still brings on anxiety attacks; after 5 years he could not and would not be responsible for the problems he created. I have since spent in excess of $15,000 fixing the gum/tooth issues that were created by Dr.Selleck. Including several gum surgeries, orthodontic care and entirely new set of veneers. I tried for 5 years to resolve the issue (back/forth to his office) then asked for a refund - his response was to refund 1/2 the cost? He not only messed up my gums, caused me years of pain and suffering with the veneers but also replaced fillings very badly! Each filling now needs to be replaced and may require root canals. My family also saw Selleck and the stories continue. Worst dental experience EVER!

Unfortunately for me I went to this dentist in 2003 at the recommendation of Dr. Aycock a well known plasrtic surgeon Aycock said that Selleck was his own dentist. Dr. Selleck did three lower fillings (restorations) in no more thatn 30 minutes time. He did not use a dam which was a mistake. He did a shoddy job and shave off part of my tooth and it is smooth on the top instead of the way a tooth is normally shaped. Many other dentists have commented on how badly the work was done. After I complained he refunded me for two of the restorations. I have suffered horrible TMD as a result because my occlusion (bite) is still off. I have suffered pain for over five years and have had to spend thousands of dollars on physical therapy from the TMD that he caused from imbalancing my bite.
