Dr. Hersel did my veneers, I had 8 done on my upper teeth. He did a great job and I'm happy with my new smile. The procedure was comfortable, the doctor was very attentive and took the time to make me feel at ease the whole time. Great office!

I visited Dr Hersel in the city of burbank at his new location. when i entered the facilities I was greeted by a friendly staff. Eeven though I usually have unbearable anxietry when i visit the dentis, t after speaking with the staff i forgot i was in a dental office. The doctor was very personable and gentle. I needed some white fillinmgs done. The first time I had them done at a different office, I had sensitivity for days but when Dr. hersel was done with treatment I felt as if I had never had any filling in those teeth before. He is truely a compassionate dentist with stae of the art equipment and skills to match.

I visited the whiter and brighter dental office on May 13, 2006 (Saturday) in Westwood and Dr. Hersel was on duty. It was my second dental visit since I moved to LA. My first visit to the West LA dental office one month ago did not give me a pleasant experience. So I decided to change to another office. I purchased my X-ray from WLA dental at a cost of $35. They suggested me for a deep cleaning. I would like to get a second opinion.
Front desk is Janet, who is a sweet girl. After reviewing my X-ray, Dr. Hersel also suggested deep cleaning. They charged $900 for this procedure and my co-pay was $180 with Delta Dental Insurance. I hesitated because WLA could do it without charge money out of my pocket. Janet talked to Dr. Hersel and they decided to waive my co-pay of $180. So I decided to do the deep cleaning there.
I did not ask for anesthesia because I want it to be done once. The procedure took about 15 to 20 minutes. I felt pain all the time. Dr. Hersel kept asking me my feeling, which was very nice. But I didn't feel that I got enough explanation. The charge was quite high but I was happy that they waived my co-pay. I am still wondering if it was worth $900. I hope the procedure can give me good results on my teeth.
