We really like Dr. Mead for us as well as for our kids - we switched from a pediatric dentis for them to Dr. Mead when our kids were about 8 and 6 - he's terrific! As are the hygienists and office staff.

Great Dentist and hygienists. Does great work but also knows when to refer to specialist. You never get the feeling that the amount of work in your mouth is dependent on when his daughter's tuition is due. They do push for preventive things like oral cancer screening but that is for your health, not their pocketbook. No anxiety fromt his office at all.
About Hygienist: Nice and thorough, though she does get on about flossing but what hygienist doesn't. She works well with Dr. Mead as he personally inspects gum recession every other cleaning.

Very clean, state of the art office... Dr. James Mead is intelligent, professional, and warm. Takes time to talk to you without his hand in your mouth (although he sometimes does that too). A very good dentist for your whole family - I send all of my friends there. Found him through a family friend. My parents used him and now I still do - even though I've tried other dentists in the area. He's still the best.
I would strongly recommend making an appointment with him ASAP. They book up quickly, although, he's available for emergencies if I've ever had one.
Views of ocean from the chair doesn't hurt either - it's not the most important thing (obviously) but, I figured I'd mention it because it is kinda cool and unique.

Friendly and very skilled. A very Gentle Dentist !
Dr. Mead is a very thorough Dentist. His injections are very well done and his work is superior !
