As a medical patient. I came to her and needed help with an issue that she agreed to help fix. All of a sudden when I get my Medi-Cal approval a month and a half after I saw them initially, she tells me that she can't work on me anymore for a variety of very unbelievable reasons. In other words she lied and made me wait a month and a half only to tell me that she can't work on me. I was left in pain and seeking a treatment for an infected tooth that she would not take care of.

I have neglected my whole life because of my fear of dentist.
Dr. Metias is very easy going and very encouraging, and very good with her hands. I had no pain whatsoever for 6 extractions so far. She shot is what hurts the most and it's over in seconds. After that nothing.

I felt pressured the first consultation I had there to get dental work done.
I was pressured into getting my wisdom teeth taken out there instead of by an oral surgeon.
it took three calls to get them to send a referral to an oral surgeon (maybe they were hoping I'd give in and have them take out my wisdom teeth).
They called me the next week reminding me of my appointment that I had the previous week. Organized are we?
I asked the dentist to contest my insurance's decision to not cover my wisdom teeth removal and they gave me the run around.
I wanted to speak with the dentist and they said "we'll call you back shortly when she gets back to the office." A week later I decided to call back and asked why they never got back to me. I got a simple "sorry about that."
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they just need a simple cleaning or a checkup. Otherwise, you'll get frustrated with their incompetence.
