I had been afraid of dentists following a couple of bad experiences, and neglected my teeth for many years as a result. My mother-in-law recommended her dentist, Dr. Sakakura, to me.
He performed deep cleaning which saved me from needing surgery on my gums.
Some years later, I had a root canal, which went perfectly smoothly , and with minimal discomfort. The crown has had no trouble since the procedure four years ago.
No dentist I have ever seen makes his patients feel as relaxed as Dr. Sakakura. He has the steadiest hands and surest touch, by far , in my experience with dental professionals.
My teeth are now in great shape, and I no longer dread going to the dentist.

Dr. Sakakura is the BEST! My teenager even likes going to him and she's been afraid of dentists all her life before she met him. He handles everything for my family and me. I can't recommend anyone higher. I have had everything from regular check-ups to having my wisdom teeth removed and I won't let another dentist touch a tooth in my mouth. His office staff is wonderful as well. I came across this site by accident so he doesn't even know that I am writing this review. I am truly a satisfied client who has referred many of my friends who were looking for a dentist. I am always confident that they will call me and thank me once they meet Dr. Sakakura and Margie and Nancy and the rest of his staff. Now, my 4 year old is about to be his newest patient.

I first went to Dr. Sakakura because of an associate's recommendation. I have lived in five states, and he is THE BEST dentist I have ever had.

Very attentive dentist and staff. Warm, family like atmosphere. Dr. Sakakura and staff are concerned about long-term dental care and good oral health for the long run. They see a bigger picture when it comes to maintaining good oral health. Under his care, I expect to keep all of my teeth until I'm 80!!
