Dr Sweeny has been great for all of my visits for the last two years and her staff has been super helpful. Probably the least stressful of any dentists I've ever had. You get your x-rays displayed on a computer screen right in front of you as they happen. The ONLY downside is that she doesn't do dental surgeries and a specialist has to be brought in which can get expensive quick.

I am normally terrified of dentists. But her kind face and sweet personality put me instantly at ease. I had her put in my implants and there was no pain at all.

They got me in quickly for a severe toothache which I appreciate but while the Dr was polite she wasnt very friendly or concerned with my welfare. There was an ongoing power struggle between her and her assistant - very stressful aned annoying. procedure was very painful (still hurts! not sure if she even did me any good). It got so bad I was crying and trying to get in a fetal position but she was saying "stop moving! it's very dangerous!" but I couldnt help it because the pain was so immense!! I attemped to ask for "gas, please!" but the assistant kept thinking I was asking for my "glasses", cuz I had all this rubber stretched across my face. There was a dirty Dixie cup with lipstick on it on the rinse tray when I first sat down - bad first impression.
I am in severe pain and I'm not sure how her perscription for Motrin is going to do anything for this pain?

i had not been to a dentist in over a decade because of horrible experiences in the past. I have been in nearly chronic pain that entire period. My best friend recommended Dr. Sweeny and after 3 visits (and many more to come because of years of poor dental hygiene) I must confess that Dr. Sweeny is an exceptionally competent, professional, kind, polite, and compassionate dentist. In a very short period of time I am feeling much, much better and know that I am in good hands. I went from being a person with a mouthful of problems and petrified to even ask for help to a person who is optimistic about the future of my teeth and my general health, all because I found a dentist whom I trust and have faith in.
