Dr. Armi is amazing. I have seen him for a while and his staff is very considerate and educated to Dr. Armi’s high standards. He is thorough, conservative and very skilled. He doesn’t push me in to treatment but explains the options and why one is better over another. He is health driven and educates his patients about 'why'. I have learned so much. If I ever move away I will look hard for a dentist like him now that I know what to look for. Dr. Armi put on the crown over my implant. He's was very careful, explaining that it should last forever if I take care of my teeth. That's a switch, my friends are told their crowns would last only 5 or so years then insurance will pay for another one?!?!!? That's crazy.

About Hygienist: Love the hygienist. She is very skilled.

I went to Dr Armi after having tried out at least 3 dentists in the Mountain View - Sunnyvale - Los Altos area. I was in pain and all the doctors told me that I just needed to get used to my crown. It would be fine !. One month and many pain killers later I went to Dr Armi - he came highly recommended. I was pain free after the second visit ! He is not in it for making money alone ! He tries to teach good dental habits - even to those of us who are very undisciplined.

I came to Dr Armi in pain after another dentist messed up my tooth. Not only did he see me immediately (even tho' I was a first time patient), but within two attempts he had figured out the root cause and I was quickly on my way to recovery. The doctor is very punctual and expects the same of his patients - this I appreciate a lot. There are others that make you wait for long periods even tho' you have an appointment. He is a very jovial and nice person - even when he is giving you a serious sermon for not flossing !

Over a number of years, Dr. Armi performed procedures for an upper front bridge and lower front teeth crowns. The work looks excellent and shows no signs of wear. Due to changes in insurance coverage, I had dental work performed by another dental group. The quality of their work was so poor I had problems eating. Dr. Armi repaired their work and I no longer have any problems with these teeth. Not only does Dr. Armi do excellent work, but is also very innovative in his approach to difficult dental problems. His work on my wife's fractured tooth is proof of his innovativeness. Dr. Armi derived much practical experience while apprenticing under his father who shared with him his 40 years experience. They still discuss procedures today. If you want it done right, then Dr. Armi is the one you want to use. His fees are also reasonable.

Dr. Armi is a leader in his field, often teaching seminars in dentistry. He spends vacations volunteering in dental work in poor countries overseas. When he did my porcelain crown (upper front tooth), he sent it back to the maker twice because the color match wasn't perfect. When it came back right, he then carefully shaped and shaded it to match my other teeth. It took him 30 minutes to sculpt that crown and no one can tell it's a crown - even I can barely see the difference. The man is an artist. I have been a patient of the Armi family (Dr. Greg's father, Phil, was my dentist previously) for over 30 years. The entire practice, hygenists, assistants, and front desk staff, is committed to the best possible care. My family has been well cared for, with careful repair of tremedous dental neglect in my stepson's teeth. He can eat normal foods again and has lovely teeth now, instead of toothaches all the time. One does have to pay up front, and then bill one's insurance afterwards, so that's a downer, and it's not cheap. But it is worth the trouble for the quality of care.
