I was young and did not do my homework. I went to Dr. Ostomel and thought he was great but the only thing great was his bedside manner! I had receded gums and he NEVER educated me on my options. He put clear fillings where my gums should have been and in doing so had to grind away at my teeth. Years later I heard about gum transplant surgery. I had the surgery but was not able to achieve the best results in helping with my recession because gum tissue needs bone to adhere to. I wish so much I had gone to a dentist that had special training and not JUST a DDS.

Dr. Ostomel is the BEST! I was referred by a co-worker 19 years ago, and I have referred others since. I am and have always been completely satisfied/happy with the service I have received from Dr. Ostomel and Renee.. I have had numeous root canals and crowns over the years, due to fillings that I received when I was younger, cracking my teeth. I have also had root canals and crowns on my front two teeth, which were broken off to nubs when I was young. I have had them replaced twice in 19 years, and have been extremely pleased with how natural they look. On both occasions, the original crowns received from the lab were returned because the Dr. and Staff did not feel they were a close enough match to my other teeth. (The crowns I had when I first came to Dr. Ostomel, stuck out like a sore thumb.) He takes pride in his work and that pride is reflected in the care he puts into your teeth, and overall well-being. I lost my job at one point, and didn't have dental insurance so I had not been to the office for awhile. I received a personal call from Dr. Ostomel, asking me if something had happened during my last visit that had caused me not to return. I assured him that as soon as I had insurance, I'd be back!
About Hygienist: Lynne is fantastic. She is gentle, thorough and her personality makes a tooth cleaning a pleasure -- if that is even possible. (I believe Dr. Ostomel's pricing is very competitive for the service received. He is up-to-date with the latest dental procedures and costly dental equipment.)

Cost was not a factor for us because we have good insurance. However, Dr. Ostomel keeps track of the work I need to have done and helps me coordinate costs with our insurance. This is the best-run dental office I have ever seen and the care is excellent. Jennifer Westerman

Just sucky. Cost was so high and I was unaware of the underlying costs.
