Transferred to Dr. Nelson after the death of my dentist and followed my long time hygenist Kimi and the bookkeepper Jan whom I had come to know and love after 20 years with Dr. Martin. Initially went to another dentist in the Pocket Area who was not sensitive to my low tolerance for pain, latex allergy and overly-sensitive teeth and was VERY unhappy, until I learned where Jan and Kimi went. Dr. Nelson took some getting used to because he didn't look old enough to be a doctor. His mild, instructive, informative manner, along with state-of-the-art equipment has since gained my confidence and my son's as well who is now away at college and continues to schedule his regular visits with Dr. Nelson. I have recommended other friends to him who also live in the Pocket Area. Would not recommend ONLY if you did not have dental insurance. I don't know if he would work out something if one did not have dental insurance. Otherwise Dr. Nelson is becoming one of our family's all-time favorite dentists.
