I moved into the new Meridian apartment complex in San Bruno and Russo dental care is within walking distance. I took advantage of a mailer I received and set an appointment. The office is quite large and modern, the waiting room very relaxing with a water fountain and lots of new magazines. The offer I received was for $99 , exam, xray, and cleaning plus teeth bleaching. I gave the office receipt. my delta card and she registered me. I had gotten hit in the face with a baseball in high school and my two front teeth had to have rootcanals . The teeth are much darker than the rest of my teeth. Dr Russo said bleaching wouldnt really solve my problem because the teeth were actually dead once they got rootcanals and suggested I get veners . Because my insurance wouldnt cover cosmetic work I paid half the fee and got an appointment for the next week. I came in and got my work done, I came back in 10 days, paid the rest of my bill, and got my permanent veners. I ended up spending a lot more than the $99 but I really like the way my front teeth look now. It is a very nice office with nice people and a great doctor. Two thumbs up! Dave

I had a great experience with the staff and doctor, and would recommend this office to all of my family and friends. Dr Russo placed several veneers and my smile is beautiful, and I am delighted. He has a relaxing office and really makes the whole experience much more relaxing than most dentists, I was able to watch a movie through my entire procedure. About two months after I got my veneers I cracked one by chewing ice bad habit dr Russo replaced it at no cost! . He's a caring guy and I would recommend him.

I was just transferred to the bay area from Los Angeles. I was just getting ready to get several all porcelain caps and an implant from my long time family dentist in Santa Monica. I saw a promotion for free teeth whitening with a dental exam and cleaning for $99 from russo dental office. I arrived and was greeted by name [nice touch] I filled out the necessary paper work and took a seat in the waiting room. I was called by the assistant in about 15 min. She took X-rays and put me in an exam room, in about ten minutes she returned with dr Russo. He went over my exam with me and explained his proposed treatment, he spent about twenty minutes, when he was done I informed him of my previous plan with my old dentist, his plan was almost identical except for a cracked filling. He led me to the front desk where the receptionist gave me a written estimate, with the exception of the filling the amount was very close to my old dentist. I decided to get the work done and was scheduled the following week after getting my teeth cleaned. The work went great, dr. russo didn't like the way one of the crowns looked and sent it back to the lab so I had to wear a temporary crown for an extra week. Love my new smile! Highly recommended

I had been reading Dr Russo's ask the dental doc column in the newspaper and decided to see him for a 2nd opinion. I wanted an other opinion as I was going to get a smile makeover consisting of ten veneers and six crowns. He kept me waiting for about thirty minutes but once he was in the room he took his time and my consultation took approx. forty-five minutes. I agreed to pay half the fee on my treatment day and the rest when he was finished. He scheduled me on a Friday and I was the only patient scheduled. The procedure was lengthy, but the end result was well worth it,.When I returned to have my work cemented two weeks later again he kept me waiting, about 25 minutes. He was about ten percent higher than my first quote, but well worth it, hardly a day goes by that someone doesn't comment how how great my smile looks. Jackie

John Russo seems to book patients as tighly together as possible. I waited in the dentist chair for 30 minutes before he made his first appearance. During his procedure, he answered his mobile phone twice! He was visibily rushed to comlete my procedure as another patient was obviously waiting for an extended amount of time. The staff was friendly and accomodating, and facilities were good. Their estimation of costs was grossly understated from what my actual out of pocket expense turned out to be.
