Dr Gehrke is by far the best pediatric dentist we've ever had. One of our children has special needs and he knows exactly what to say/do to make him feel at ease. His staff is friendly and helpful (just like him).
You can tell Fred is in it for the health and the smiles and not just the money.

Dr. Gehrke is a knowledgeable professional who is child and adult friendly. Both of my teenage children have been going to Dr. Fred since they where 1.5 years old. They have never been resistant or had any fear in his care.
As an educator, I know that this type of relationship is important!
He is always willing to answer my questions and give me all the options to my children's treatments before we make a decision. He has had consistent dental assistants who demonstrates a comfortable, caring attitude. Overall, a relaxing place to get all your dental needs met. This from a Mom who would get sick at the thought of going to a dentist.
I have had dental emergencies and Dr. Fred was always on the other end and talked me through them. I would highly recommend a Doctor who truly cares as well as performs at a high level of integrity.

Dr Fred is fantastic... Very sweet to my kids... they actually LIKE going to the dentist!! We moved away from the Willoughby area, but we still make the drive to take the kids back to Dr Fred. There is no other pediatric dentist for us!

Dr. Gehrke and his staff are wonderful. From day one, they have treated my children with exceptional gentle loving care. Our first visit (age 2 or 3), Dr. Fred had me hold my child on my lap - he sat next to me to examine his teeth. I am sure my children will grow up with a healthy attitude about dentists because of Dr. Gehrke and his staff. My boys are never afraid to see the dentist and I'm sure that will stay with them for life.
Aside from the dental care, going to Dr. Fred's office is always fun for the boys. The offices are small but decorated for kids - it's fun to look at. There are hand held video games for them to play while they wait to see the doctor, also children's reading material. There's magazines for the parents also.
The children are offered a menu to choose the flavor of flouride treatment, etc. They have a selection of sunglasses available that the children can choose from so the light doesn't bother their eyes. My family is very lucky to have met such a wonderful and caring group of people to provide dental care for the children. Thanks Dr. Fred!

Dr. Fred has been a part of our family for many years.... he has treated my oldest son who is now 15 years old and now my youngest who is 7 years old. He is fair and isn't in it just for the money like some other dentist. My kids have loved their office and friendly staff. I would encourage everyone to try this office for their pediatric dentistry needs.

Dr. Fred has been seeing my daughter since she was 1. He was very kind and gentle. He didn't do too much at each visit so that she would be comfortable and not scared. The office is a wonderful environment filled with posters, toys, videos playing, and twinkling lights to take your childs mind off of the dentistry at hand. He gives the kids sunglasses so that the bright light used to look in their mouth doesn't bother their eyes. And to top it off he has a menu of flavors for the kids to choose from to flavor his gloves instead of just tasting the yucky rubber. Aside from all the fun parts, Dr. Fred knows what he is doing and is someone I trust with my child's teeth.

My kids love Dr. Gerke. He is the BEST pediatric dentist around. The office is desinged with your kids in mind..not your typical scarry Dentist office. Not once has my kids complained about going to the denist.
