Read Reviews for Dr. Alan Fierro
HE IS WONDERFUL & MY KIDS LOVE HIM! IT IS NEVER EASY FINDING A GOOD KID DENTIST, AND DR. FIERRO IS VERY GENTLE, ATTENTIVE AND CARING. THE COST HAS ALWAYS BEEN REASONABLE AS WELL, WITH VERY LITTLE OUT-OF-POCKET THAT HASN'T BEEN COVERED BY INSURANCE.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I've seen Dr. Fierro for 4 or 5 years.
On the positive side, the staff is friendly & Dr. Fierro is friendly & professional & visits there have been pain free. His staff also give you a courtesy reminder call the day before.
In fact, up until 1 1/2 years ago my impression was mostly positive. But after he crowned my front moler in February of '05, I started getting food impacted between that tooth and the one behind after nearly every meal. When I asked him to take a look at it, he said that, since there was not abnormal space between the two teeth, he couldn't do anything about it-- just keep flossing it out. It seemed to me that a dentist should be able to re-create the pre-crown tooth functionality after the crown.
The second problem I had-- before my regular 6-month cleaning came up this March, I got a call saying that the regular hygeinist had gone out on maternity leave and I'd get a call back for rescheduling once they got a replacement. I thought at the time that it was poor planning on their part, but then I didn't get a call back in over a moth for a re-schedule. So I called back and they still couldn't fit me in. Another 3 months later and I still haven't heard from them. So I've switched to another denist.

He is precise and calm in his approach. He is big on pain management and patient and willing to wait until patient is fully numb before beginning procedure.
