Not only is Dr. Jack the best dentist I've ever seen, but he's also very charming and handsome. Just an added bonus I guess.
About Hygienist: Hygienists are excellent as well. Very gentle, efficient and thorough.

My elderly father doesn't have much use for doctors or dentists, but he loves Dr. Wiley. Excellent care, reasonable prices, great staff.

It's going to the dentist, how fun is it? Dr. Wiley and his staff are great. It is a relaxing atmosphere and they are down to earth. Oh, the quality of work is excellent and timely!

Dr. Wiley is a very friendly and positive man, who advised against procedures such as a root canal when my crown showed sensitivity, on the grounds that this was normal, and we should wait and see--and I appreciate that! Some dentists would immediately do the procedure. However, the work hasn't been perfect, and Dr. Wiley's practice is phasing out all their PPO coverage over the next few years, which is going to raise costs for most of us. I wish them well but I might have to find someone else.

Dr. Wiley is very straightforward and kind, and I felt that I could trust his diagnosis. I came to him with a lot of work that needed to be done. My fillings look wonderful. The hygenist in the office is also great, very thorough, and she brings Dr. Wiley in to consult about any potential problems. I appreciate that they communicate with me about areas that they feel need to be watched, as well as quickly finding areas that are in need of work. I also had one filling done while I was pregnant, and Dr. Wiley was very good about discussing options for anesthetic that I could use. In the end I went without any, and it was not bad at all. Dr. Wiley was very careful and kept checking in with me to make sure it was tolerable. I highly recommend this office.

Chair side manor is very poor-- patronizing, rough, very impatient and seems really put out in all but the simplest and painless procedures. Spent 2.5 hrs in his chair with my fists clenched. Would never give my business to him again!

Love him. I live on the South side but travel all the way to Ballard to see him. The assistants are the nicest people in the world and Dr. Wiley is a perfectionists.

Dr. Wiley is an excellent dentist and has great patient relation skills. Some of his staff broke HIPAA laws by talking to patients about their conditions in the waiting room, where everyone else could hear. But Dr. WIley really seems to care about the dental health of his patients, not just about making $$.

I am seeking another dentist because of 1) poor customer service from his desk staff and 2) feeling ill at ease with Dr. W's chairside manner. He refilled 2 older fillings and I had pain in the dental chair for the first time. (It may be that since they were old, he had to drill very deeply) His hygienist, Ginny, is excellent.

Dr. Wiley is great! We were going to leave a year ago because of one of his front office workers, but he took care of that. Staff is very kind and his assistants are great!
