I have a problem with this dentist's business practices as well as the quality of the care. I had cleanings every three months and I almost never actually saw a dentist. When I finally had enough, I saw another dentist who now tells me I need thousands of dollars of work to redo some of what this dentist and his wife, Dr. Jacobs, did. My mouth has deteriorated beyond what should be normal given the cleanings I was supposedly seeing.

The treatment was very good.I didn't feel any pain during the examination.It wasn't too expensive.

During each visit, they were too eager to find something wrong with my teeth. His partner, Dr. Nguyen, told me I needed a filling. After getting second opinion, I learned my tooth was just stained, not a cavity. The hygienst also suggested a consultation with the dentist for invisalign because the dentist "just learned how to do it". That is the wrong reason to get a patient to have invisalign. I could no longer trust this dental practice and found someone else to care for my teeth.

Dr. Kokas is a very good dentist....I never had any problems in his office. All personel was very professional, personal and helpful.

I always get a second opinion and find that most of it isn't needed.

Nice guy but incredibly incompetent. He did some gold crowns for me which did not fit right from the beginning. He blamed the lab and sent them back to another lab. When they came back, they were still wrong. He forced them to fit and I have had nothing but problems (i.e., they fall out and need to be reattached almost yearly). I investigated and found out that others have had similar experiences. Unfortunate, cuz he's a nice guy but should find another line of work. I have since gone to another local dentist who did the job over and I haven't had any further problems.
