This doctor uses his website to lure in potential cosmetic dentistry patients by touting his qualifications, those of his specialist in Los Angeles and then "works" with tens of local general dentists in your area who are supposed to be his partner in your treatment plan. In reality, however, these general dentists intend to do not just the preparatory restoration but ALL the work themselves - implants, oral dentistry, endodontry, COSMETIC DENTISTRY etc. and Dr. Wayland just asks them for your (the patient's) pictures. If you actually want Dr. Wayland to do the cosmetic work (as you had originally expected based on his website's description of his one patient per day plan) you are required to pay much more. Determining that cost amount requres another consult with Dr. Wayland (since that was never his intent as you were made to believe).The intent seems to be for Dr. Wayland to secure the patients for all his satellite offices and thieir dentidts, none of whom seem to have any accredidation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I expected to work with Dr.Wayland for all the cosmetic work and left when it was immediately obvious that was not the plan. A total waste of time and bordering on Bait and Switch to me. BEWARE

This is not one of my patients, old or new. There is no record of this patient with this name. I never had partners to do work for me as I have always performed all work for all my patients. I have not done any kind of cosmetic dentistry in almost 20 years. I never had an office in the Los Angeles area and do not have any satellite offices.
