I went for a root canal retreatment. He started giving me a quote for a bunch of procedures never mentioned before by any endodontists - and I've had a lot of root canals - then after trying for 2 hours he said he could not save the tooth so put the crown back on w/o any medications. He charged me nonetheless.
The day after I was in hell and had to go see my dentist who was surprised he didn't even give me some antibiotics.

my regular dentist said and that I need three root canals, but when I went to Dr. Eddie Harouni he told me I only need two root canals. After the procedure I no longer had any pain. I was very surprised with that.

He is absolutely great. He very talented and truley cares for his patients. I was very nervous and he spent time explaining the procedure and the procedure was completely pain free. I loved the office and the staff and surely would recommmend him to all my friends. Also the fees are by far more reasonable than my previous root canals and the experience was by far more efficient and pleasent.

I've had 3 root canals at this office -- so I must really, really like root canals - NOT!
These could have easily been traumatic experiences, but the professionalism of the staff, their modern techniques, and the caring hands of Dr. Harouni served me extremely well. It was a no-pain experience.
I felt very comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. It's no wonder my dentist sends root canal therapy appointments to this office.
One area I can't comment is cost, since I have a dental HMO that provides coverage for only $40 copay.
These treatments seem to run over $1000; to my thinking that is a bit excessive even with the great staff, doctor, modern facilities and tools.
The insurance paid portion in my plan was well below $1000, so I think it fair for those under-insured or uninsured to at least inquire about a price break. I'm sure you'll get no less quality of care for at least asking.
Good luck for those seeking root canal treatment! I was fortunate with Dr. Harouni's office.

He is an unbelievable talent. The best root canal experience I have ever had. I have had many root canals in the past and I would never want to see anyone but Dr. Harouni. He is awsome.

I made an appointment with Dr. Harouni for a root canal. I was very surprised when another endodontist did the procedure. Although she was good, I think that the office should have informed me when I made the appointment that Dr. Harouni was not available.

he was amazing. he's the most wonderful human being. he held my hand the entire way through...i felt no pain because of the warmth he provided. i almost wish i needed another root canal. i loved him!
