Dr. Bock is honest and competent. I started seeing him after another dentist in Santa Cruz lied to me about the work that supposedly was "needed." Confirmed by other dentists and Dr. Bock, only $300 of the $1500 of work proposed by Dr. Karl Brose was actually required and history has supported their professional opinions. I recommend Dr. Bock highly.

Dr. Bock is as good a dentist as there is. He takes pains to do a thorough examination and to explain very clearly you dental health and any and all procedures you may need. He has been my dentist for most of my adult life. My insurance now covers most of his fees. However at one point I was on MedICal and a student at UCSC. His fees were not high and he worked with me to create payment options.
In short. Dr. Bock is a very good dentist. I recomend him very highly.

I had several treatments with Dr.Bock, mostly non-invasive. Although I believe him to be a genuinely kind person, I was extremely dissapointed with the results of my last treament with Dr. Bock. At first they had difficulty administering the correct amount of anesthesia, and it seemed as if they were very uncomfortable with my discomfort, and in a hurry to get my fillings done. I felt nauseous from the anesthetic, and I was in no mood to be hurried along. In addition, within three months the cavity he filled came back! Yet, I take meticulous care of my teeth. Dr. Bock had been recommended to me, yet I do NOT share the sentiment.

He is more than adequate in many ways, but had to move elsewhere as he seems to cancel more appointments than he keeps. I do not know how this man can stay in business! His office help, Maria is very nice.
