Dr. Lent is calm and confident. His work on my teeth has been consistently superb, especially as we have removed worn-out (ugly!) silver/amalgam fillings and replaced them with high-quality composite (tooth-colored) fillings. He has a great high-tech office with equipment that can visually show you precisely what he's working on (very cool). I am totally pleased with his work. Hope is one of the dental hygenists on-site, and she is personable and terrific, as well! They're not the cheapest, but absolutely the best I have been able to find in L.A./the Valley/Santa Monica.

Dr. Lent is my dentist(for 4 years) after a good recomendation from a friend.In all the time that I had work done from Dr. Lent it was performed at the most professional, very knowledgeable way and with the best results.He takes the time to explain everything before, during and after the procedure. I highly recommend this dentisit.

Doctor Lent is the best dentist I ever had. He won't recommend stuff you don't need. He will give you your options. He does terrific work. I have never had such a positive experience at a dentists office. He has all the new gadgets and is up on the newest procedures.
Dr. Lent is not the cheapest dentist, but he saved me money. The (cheaper) dentist I had before recommended 4 crowns I didn't need.
The dentist before that gave me a "deep cleaning" I didn't need.

I have seen Dr. Lent for 10+ years for cleanings, exams, and also bonding on one tooth I chipped. He is professional, thorough, effective. The BEST thing about Dr. Lent, unlike many dentists, is that he only does the procedures that are NECESSARY to your dental health and good looks. I know of other dentists who are EAGER to work on patients, doing "preventitive work" and fixing teeth long before they are a problem. Doctor Lent seems to have the "if it's not broken, let's not fix it" attitude, which to my thinking is exactly right. I don't want dental work I don't NEED. And Dr. Lent has never advised me to get any work more than exactly what I needed. I believe he is a nice man and an excellent technical dentist.

I just changed to Dr. Lent upon recommendations from several relatives. He is very personable, but not overbearing. Most importantly, he is extremely informative and thorough. I learned things about my teeth that I'd never heard from other dentists I've used in my 53 years. Unlike my previous dentist, Dr. Lent uses computer imaging to display and analyze everything right in front of the patient. (Perhaps this is common by now, but I wasn't aware of it.) He mentioned that he's taught at UCLA Dentistry School for around 25 years, and it shows in his informative manner with his patients. The high recommendations were completely valid.
