I was referred to Dr. Y 19 years ago. Irene is great with insurance plans, Dr. Y has always be gentle and takes his time-especially important when you have sensitive teeth! I was very happy with the veneers he did for me and I have recommended him to others. I checked 3 stars for pain free just because my teeth are extra sensitive and I still get anxious, but that doesn't have anything to do with Dr. Y's office or Dr. Y. I can't think of a reason I would go to another dentist.

I love Dr. Y! I've been seeing him for 4 years now and he is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. My wife and I are both a bit queasy with dentists (having both had some very bad dental experiences in our pasts), but Dr. Y and his staff make everything easy and comfortable. My wife is able to eat whatever she wants after many years of having to avoid many foods that were too hard or crunchy. My teeth are looking better than ever after going through Invisalign. Irene knows more about our dental plan than even the insurance reps themselves do. Whenever a friend is looking for a new dentist, I always recommend Dr. Y.

I've been seeing this dentist for 3 years. He's done a lot of work on my brother and I. Dr. Yoshimaru does really quality work but I feel that he also "upsells" work. If you don't mind paying a lot and you care about good work then see this dentist, but maybe a second opinion is a good idea too.

Dr. Yoshimaru has done the fillings on my teeth and some minor cosmetic work that I've needed. He's very competent, but he's also always trying to "up-sell" you on work, and does not explain very well the benefit (if any) of the additional work. The cleaning specialists aren't very good and quite expensive. Still, since it is very difficult to find a good dentist nowadays, I would recommend his work.

Placed a Maryland bridge on my front lower teeth. The bridge went in crooked, left higher than right, fake tooth was not terribly well matched, sat too high off the gum, and the bridge was very painful at first. It was difficult to have my complaints honored and addressed. The bridge is still not comfortable and I was informed by orofacial pain clinic that it is a very temporary fix when it was to be a permanent fix. It cost 2300 or so for one, non-reinforced composite tooth and a plastic back piece. I thought is was expensive for what it was. My composite fillings are good on the lower teeth but poor on the upper teeth. I can't recommend him and am changing dentists.

DR. YOSHIMARU RECONSTRUCTED MY SMILE AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. MY SMILE IS COMPLETELY NATURAL AND SPARKLING WHITE. I'M A BIT DENTALPHOBIC BUT HIS PERSONALITY BROUGHT MUCH COMFORT TO MY EXPERIENCE.

David Yoshimaru does quality work -- he doesn't do gratuitous or unneeded work -- which unfortunately is not the case with other area dentists. Over the years, the work appears (inlays and crowns and cavities filled) to be very good quality. I had one small problem, which was remedied to my satisfaction. However, unless you get very lucky, you never see Yoshimaru when you come in for your semi-annual cleaning. No "check up" for you; at least by the dentist. The hygienists seem to think that they can make dental (and medical) diagnoses though. Which is of course laughable (and dangerous). You've got to make a separate appointment to have the dentist look at your teeth for even 30 seconds (and of course pay for that appointment). Concerning billing, the office manager is rude and callous & has made many people I know feel bad for asking for an extended payment schedule. In general, Yoshimaru seems more interested these days in doing cosmetic work than anything significant. He's all about money. But despite all that, he's still very skilled at what he does, and I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone else.

Extremely easy to work with, pleasant & very competent. Staff is very helpful and will work with you on pricing and payment, as well as contacting insurance. Dr. Dave has a great manner that makes you feel very comfortable and confident. He called me at work the next day after a procedure to make sure I was feeling ok. I wish my doctor would do as much. He also makes time for any emergencies and can you work into his schedule if needed. The only downside is the price though I haven't shopped around that much. They take Delta but they are non-qualified. Porcelain onlays run around $800.

I've been going to Dr. Y for almost 5 years and highly recommend him and the hygienists there. The super-clean office is up-to-date and the friendly, cheerful staff puts you at ease. True, my insurance doesn't cover the full cost of the fees, but I've found it to be well worth the added level of comfort, service, and pain-free visits. He did my veneers last year and I only wish I had done them sooner!
